Chapter 7

I picked up Johnny and Pony and Two Bit at school. I was surprised to see him there probably made his way there by lunch. Two Bit wanted to drive and I didn't mind so two But drove and Pony sat up front with him. Me and Johnny sat in the back he played with my long curls tangling them between his fingers as I leaned into him. The sun was starting to set.
"You know Pony told me about sunsets before he said that it was the prettiest thing he had ever seen"
He whispered to me. I smiled. I rolled over laying in his chest.
"What made you fall in love with me?"
I asked. He smiled.
"At first I fell in love with your eyes those big beautiful hazel eyes then when I met you it was just your personality everything about you your love for your family and your kindness"
He said. I smiled but we were pulling up to Bucks the boys were invited to one of his parties so it didn't matter but Pony was probably going to end up staying in my room though because Darry won't let him be around all those drunks. Johnny was holding my hand as we walked in. I saw the rest of the gang standing together as we opened the door to dim lights and the smell of beer and sweat filling our noses. I walked over to Ellsa who I left with the boys all night. She was now wearing a light orange dress and some brown flats. Her hair was pulled back in a ponytail. Once she saw me she ran towards me.
"Come on let's go get you changed"
She said pulling me upstairs to my room. I laughed as she pulled out my black dress.
"Ellsa that dress is way to trampy to wear for this party"
I said to her. She laughed.
"C'mon don't you want to show off the Johnny"
She said with a smirk. I giggled at her enthusiastment.
"Ellsa this thing shows half my butt"
I exclaimed to her.
"Oh who cares"
She said pushing me too the bathroom. I changed and pulled my hair into a ponytail and redid my make up. I walked out and she smiled at me. She grabbed my hand and ran me downstairs. Once Johnny saw me he smiled and walked over to me.
"I think I deserve the first dance this time"
He said to me with a smirk. I smiled and pulled him out into the dance floor. I looked over at Ellsa and saw her talking to Soda. I smiled when he wrapped his arm around her waist and escorted her to the dance floor. I smiled at the sight but then I heard tapping on my shoulder just to be surprised at the sight of. Wake. I immediately gasped and jumped into his arms wrapping my arms around his neck and long blonde locks.
"Wake what are you doing here?"
I asked him. He smiled at me.
"I'm here for a month help you catch up with the money and bring you and Ellsa home"
He said. I smiled at him. Then he looked me up and down.
"Well you have changed slot, keep your hands to your self bud"
He said eyeing Johnny. I laughed he always treated me like his little sister.
"Oh calm down this is my boyfriend Johnny"
I said grabbing his arm. Wake did the I'm watching you thing and then looked at me again.
"Where's Ellsa?"
He started to ask but I wasn't able to answer because I got cut off by Ellsa's shriek.
"Wake!!"
She screamed running to him. He immediately opened his arms preparing for her ambush. I couldn't believe I was seeing this right now. I looked at Johnny and he looked sad.
"What's wrong?"
I asked.
"Your leaving in a month"
He said. I sighed I realized I would have to leave them all in a month. I pulled Johnny into a hug. I kissed him.
"Baby I don't ever want to leave you but I have to go back to my family"
I said. I felt him grab my hand and pull me upstairs. I thought he just wanted to go cuddle in my room but he pulled me to the end of the hallway and opened up the attic ladder. I always thought it was just and attic but as soon as he opened it I saw the moonlight shine through. He held my hand as he pulled me up.
"Dally told me about this I have always wanted to see it myself"
He said as he pulled me up onto the roof. You could see a million stars for miles.
"I don't want you to go but I know I will let you go because I care about you"
He said. I smiled and snuggled into him. I wish that moment would of lasted longer but I heard Ellsa yelling my name. Me and Johnny walked down to find her. Once she saw me she ran up to me happier than ever.
"Soda just asked me out!"
She practically screamed at me I laughed at her childishness but I tried to keep my mind if of her and Soda I just wanted to think about how much time I had left.
