25. Revenge

I can't even say a word.

Taehyung's eyes are red and swollen,
 he covers his eyes and put them on his knees.

I stand up and try to find some tissues for him.

"I promised her ..."

He  looks at the floor

"As I was burying her with my own hands ...
I promised her.
I said my last goodbye to her and promised to say the same thing with all those who'd done that to her"

I finally find some tissues and hand them to him

"You mean ...? "

"I'm going to kill them Jungkook.
 I swore that 2 years ago ..."

I think about the dates he just told in his story

14th of September...?

He lost her on the exact day that I ...

" Yeah, Jungkook.
 In the exact time that you lost your parents,
 I lost everything as well. "

He assures my mind.

"I know jungkook.
There's a lot on your mind right now

Sometimes you have so many thoughts on your head that when someone asks about them you don't even know what they exactly are.

But you just know they exist.
 And they'll keep existing until you lose your mind."

He wipes his tears with the tissues I gave him and
I'm still in awe of this new Taehyung who's talking wisely to me.

This is true.

So many thoughts are dancing on my head.
They're like professional dancers who dance with a natural grace,

 and I can't catch them and see what they're actually trying to say or ask with their movements.

My mind is clear and so cloudy at the same time.

"I'll tell you how these all happened Jungkook.
 I'll try to clean your head and the running thoughts right now.."

He stands up and throws away the wet tissues in the trash can.
 

He sits in front of me and ties his hands on his knees.

" Long time ago.
When neither of us were born.
 Mr. Jones and your father were colleagues in a small company..."

He gazes into my eyes.

The more he speaks about them the more everything becomes clear.

As clear as water.

My life has been like a puzzle.

And by each sentence with Taehyung's voice, it gets more complete.

Now I come to realize what my dad meant when he said "They will find you"

By "they" he meant Mr.jones and his gangs.

I asked my mom for hundreds of times that why did she fall in love with dad and still wanted to live with him even though he was either drunk or beating her.

She could've married anyone in this world but she chose him.

He wasn't even close to someone who deserved my mother.

I Never had a clue that he saved her from marrying him.

Marrying Adam Jones.
One who wanted to force my mom to marry him after making her pregnant...

But my dad saved her and let her child be born and accepted to be his father.

To be my father ...

They were best friends but everything got messed up after he stood up for my mother...

My brain starts to hurt and I can no longer listen to Taehyung who's giving me so much information about my own life ...

"Stop. Please stop Tae"

I cover my head with my hands

"You okay ?"

"Y-yeah. I am. This is just too much...
 I feel like my whole life has been just a lie"

He stands up and hands me some tissues

"Ugh, I don't need them Tae.
I'm not going to cry"

He lifts his eyebrows

" What?
You're not going to cry?
 I swear when I first found out about this I was crying for an hour for how unlucky and miserable you are...
I hadn't even met you yet..."

He says and chuckles

" Oh come on, I'm not as miserable as you are ...
I mean who is that unfortunate to bury the love of his life with his own hands "

" You little bitch ..."

He growls

" Okay okay. I'm sorry.
But we're both pretty screwed."

"We are jungkook ... "

We both sigh

"But it doesn't mean that we can't make  the ones who made us like this miserable..."

He smirks

"Like...?"

I won't ever tell him but he has the scariest smirk I've ever seen in my life...

"Revenge Jungkook.

Revenge. "

Now there's the biggest smile on his face

What is he going to do exactly ...?
 

" Mr.jones took Emily from me.
 I had no clue what love and life means until she came into my life.
I felt like I'd been lost in my whole life before her.

But she found me, 
She embraced me with her  warm heart and
saved me from the demons and the darkness..."

His tears begin to well up but he breathes deeply and controls them.

"He took her away from me. He took away the only thing I had in this world.
He just took her away to play with it for a few days and then killed her like a fucking toy"

I slightly flinch from his shout.

He hysterically laughs

"But look at me now.
I have nothing to lose. I can be the cruelest this world has ever seen..."

He stops and stares at my eyes

" But it's different for you Jungkook.
You've got Jimin. 
You still have your life my friend and that's why you still have all the chances in the world ...

He's upset right now?
Go and fucking apologize and hug him as tightly as he won't be even able to breathe.
Touch him. Kiss him...
Deeply.
Show him he still has you.
 Embrace and save him from the demons and the darkness  ..."

His tears begin to stream down his face
And makes my eyes misty as well

"You guys remind me of her...
You and Jimin are the feelings between me and Emily...

I won't ever let him do anything to you ...

I promise..."

He says and wipes his last tears

"B-but what are you going to do exactly Tae?"

He takes a deep breath and slightly smiles

"I'll tell you what exactly we will do..."
