Mario and Sonic at the Danganronpa Olympic Games

Prologue

"Huh where am I? I don't think this is the Olympics." I woke up in a strange room I don't remember seeing before. I looked around the room and there were lockers? "Is this a locker room? Well, I guess it makes sense. Oh yeah, I should probably introduce myself. My name is Sonic and I am what they call the Ultimate Runner." I was chosen like others that I suppose are also called Ultimates to compete in the Olympics. Losing my thought, a note that was on a bench caught my eye and I went towards and read it.

Meet in the stadium at 8am for the opening ceremony. Don't be late!

"Wait 8am? What time is it now?" I looked around the locker room to find a clock but there wasn't one to be found. "Well that's not gonna help. I should probably go now just incase I am actually late!" I headed out the locker room and tried to find my way to the stadium but I was having a bit of trouble finding it. Eventually after walking around, I finally found the stadium and went in. As I went in, in front of me were 15 other people already gathered here.

"Umm hi?" I said questionably.

"Oh cool, this'll make 16 of us" Vector: Ultimate DJ

"Well it's nice to see you're here now Sonic!" Tails: Ultimate Mechanic

"It would've been better if you were here on time, damnit, hmph" Shadow: Ultimate Shooter

"Shadow, can you please have some manners?" Peach: Ultimate Princess

"It's Shadow, what else do you expect from him?" Knuckles: Ultimate Hunter

"Oh so, do you guys know how you got here?" I asked questionably

"Not in the slightest bit." Mario: Ultimate Plumber. "All I remember is just waking up in a locker room and being called here."

"Oh shoot, you woke up in a locker room too bro?! I thought I was the only one." Luigi: Ultimate Ghostbuster

"Well it seems like we all have." Blaze: Ultimate Fire Princess. "It's kinda strange though."

"I mean, weren't we supposed to be here for the olympics?" Silver: Ultimate Psychic

"How the hell are we supposed to do them? Nothing is set up!" Bowser: Ultimate King

"I'm sure things will be set up soon! Just gotta be patient!" Daisy: Ultimate Flower Girl

"But no one else is here but us though, when will they be set up?" Amy: Ultimate Hammer Girl

"Wahhh, all I wanna do is earn the gold so you losers don't have to." Wario: Ultimate Moneyman

"You better share with me Wario!" Waluigi: Ultimate Prankster

"Well don't be too sure about that yet.." Yoshi: Ultimate Fruitmaker

So it seems like everyone has introduced themselves or so it seems like it. After we finished introducing ourselves, a loud buzz rang. BUZZ, BUZZ Testing testing, okay it's working. Welcome all to the olympics or so you think that's what you're here for..!

"What does the voice mean that's what we think we are here for?" I thought to myself. Suddenly, we turned towards the field where a podium was standing? And all of a sudden, BOING, a familiar figure appears?

"What the heck!?" I said very confused. "Wait a second, Omochao?"

"No, no, no! You got it all wrong! I am your host, Monochao! Pleased to meet you."

"What the hell are you doing here and what do you want from us?" Shadow said.

"Oh, isn't it so obvious?! You all are here for the olympics, riiiiggghhhhttt?!?" Monochao said very concerningly.

"I mean, why else would we be here?" Tails asked.

Monochao: "To play my little game of course!"

Bowser: "What the fuck are you on!? And what is this "little game" of yours? I bet it's gonna be dumb!"

Monochao: "Welllllll, it has to do with killing!"

Mario: "Killing? But we're at the olympics, what is there to kill?"

Monochao: "Well, you all are gonna play my killing game! You will each have to kill one of your friends in order to get out of here! Once someone kills another person, you will have a certain amount of time to investigate and then once that times up, you will all participate in a class trial and figure out who the blackened is! If you vote correctly, the blackened will get a punishment, but if you vote incorreccttlyyy, everyone will get the punishment and the blackened will be the only one to get out alive!

Mario: "W-we would never kill each other, right guys!?"

Sonic: "Yeah! We would never kill each other!"

Shadow: "I'm sure someone would-.." We all turned towards Shadow after he said that. "Hey, I'm just saying, don't get your hopes up."

Monochao: "Welllll, have fun killingggg!!" Monochao disappeared afterwards. Killing each other? There's no way in hell we would do that! We all turned to look at each other. Our faces full of worry and despair. But, can we really trust each other at this point?
