Chapter 1 part 3

We all stood there, looking at each other with worry and fear in our faces. We didn't know what to think. One of us? Working for Monochao and is the mastermind? That can't be possible!

Peach: "Guys, cmon! I'm sure he's just lying to us, none of us would ever work for him, right?"

Knuckles: "Y-yeah! We would never work for him! Peach is right!"

Shadow: "Hmph, I'm pretty sure that turtle dude seems like he would, heheh."

Bowser: "Oh say allll you want hedgehog but I would never EVER work with a psycho like him!"

Wario: "Not to be an ass or anything but Peach could be working for Monochao. After all, she is taking charge as a leader lately."

Peach: "H-huh?!"

Mario: "Wario! Leave her out of this, she would never be that type of person!"

Wario: "I'm just saying. Hey you could be working for him as well."

Mario: "W-what?!"

Sonic: "Guys! Can we please not argue? This is exactly what Monochao wants us to do, lose trust in each other!"

Knuckles: "He's just lying to our faces, there's no way one of us is working for him!"

Shadow: "Hmph, and you could be the traitor for all we care Sonic." Shadow walked out of the stadium after he said that.

Sonic: "W-what, I-i.." Tails went up to me.

Tails: "Don't listen to him Sonic. I know you wouldn't be that type of person to work with a psycho like Monochao."

Sonic: "Y-yeah, thank you Tails." Everyone left the stadium and went there separate ways. I went back to my dorm to just relax a bit. No one is working for Monochao, right? No one is really the mastermind, right? I didn't wanna think too much about it so I decided to walk around a bit to clear my mind. To my luck, I saw Yoshi in the halls so I went over to him and talked to him.

Yoshi: "This whole mastermind thing is m-messed up...no one would do such a thing right?"

Spend Freetime with Yoshi? Yes

Yoshi: "O-oh! You wanna hang around me?"

Sonic: "Of course! It would give us a better chance to learn more about each other."

Yoshi: "Yeah, I g-guess so.."

Me and Yoshi chatted for a bit. I grew a little closer to Yoshi today.

Sonic: "Correct me if I'm wrong but you do own an island, correct?"

Yoshi: "Sure do..! Wish I could be back there.."

Sonic: "Yeah, I bet you must miss it a lot. What's it like there?"

Yoshi: "Well..back then we got attacked by Bowser's minions we'll just say."

Sonic: "Attacked?!"

Yoshi: "When Mario was still a baby, his army tried to kidnap him so I always had to protect him to make sure he was safe. It was tough at times but I managed it. That was also when Bowser was also a youngling as well."

Sonic: "Huh, I guess that's how he got his evil sense."

Yoshi: "Yeah, I guess so..but the island is much more peaceful nowadays. I mean, all yoshis are friends with each other so it's way more peaceful then it was back then."

Sonic: "That's good to hear it's in better condition nowadays. I'm guessing all yoshis are like the same kinda?"

Yoshi: "You can say that but all of us yoshis are always willing to help out the best we can..I mean we w-were raised to do so."

Sonic: "That's a good thing right?"

Yoshi: "Of course..I'm always willing to h-help out others when needed!"

He may seem shy but it's great to hear he always is willing to help out others. That's what I like about Yoshi.

Me and Yoshi went our separate ways after chatting with each other. After walking around a bit more, I happened to run into my good buddy, Tails.

Tails: "Hey Sonic! This whole "mastermind" thing is really scary, don't ya think?"

Spend freetime with Tails? Yes

Tails: "Oh, of course I'll hang out with you Sonic! I always want to!"

That's the Tails I always knew and liked. Me and Tails talked about possible people being the mastermind. Me and Tails grew a bit closer today.

Sonic: "So I'm sure you've made a lot of inventions but which one out of yours is your favorite one you made?"

Tails: "That's easy: my Tornado-1!"

Sonic: "Heheh, I kinda knew you would say that. You sure do love flying that thing around."

Tails: "Sure do! After all, we did have some sweet adventures while riding it!"

Sonic: "Yup, like when we had to travel to Spagonia to see Professor Pickle, that was a good time."

Tails: "Yup! I sure do miss flying it though."

Sonic: "Hey, I'm sure when we get out of here, we can take it for a ride to just fly around."

Tails: "That would be great!"

Sonic: "So have you been making other inventions while we are here?"

Tails: "Not really..as much as I want to, I haven't had time to do so."

Sonic: "I'm sure will have time once we are out of here!"

Tails: "Y-yeah, I hope so as well!"

Me and Tails both went our separate ways. I decided to head to my dorm to relax a bit. I checked the time and it was only 7pm. "Nighttime is almost here? Dang time goes by fast." Just as I thought I was gonna relax, more things popped up.

DING DONG

I heard my doorbell ringer and wondered who it could be during this time. I looked outside my peephole and it was Silver? I opened my door to let him in. "What's up Silver?"

Silver: "We have a problem."

Sonic: "Wait what happened?" I already got a bad feeling of what happened.

Silver: "Please, follow me to the locker rooms."

Sonic: "Wait, locker rooms?"

Silver: "No time! Just please follow me!" Silver said with a fearful and worried tone in his voice. I followed him to the locker room.

Silver: "You go in first.."

Sonic: "Hold on, why me first?!"

Silver: "I already saw it, so just go in first!"

Sonic: "See what..?" I walked in and...what I saw...was despair itself

The body of Knuckles the Echinda, the ultimate Hunter...was laying there...lifeless
