Chapter 1 part 2

KNOCK KNOCK

"Gah! Huh, who, what?" I said as I jolted awake. I went to the door to see who it was. I opened the door and it was my good buddy, Tails.

Tails: "Hey Sonic!"

Sonic: "Tails! What are you doing here buddy?"

Tails: "Well I came to get you since we were all waiting for you."

Sonic: "Oh shoot! What time is it now?"

Tails: "8am"

Sonic: "I slept in that long? Oh wow."

Tails: "Yeah, it's not too bad but we all decided we would eat breakfast together in the mornings from now on! It was mostly Peach's idea again."

Sonic: "Oh sweet! That'll be fun."

Tails: "Yup, now we should probably get going cause they're waiting on us."

Sonic: "Yeah, you're right, let's go." Before we went out, I grabbed my Chaopad just incase and we went to the dining area. We arrived there and everyone was already here.

Knuckles: "Heyy, there you are Sonic!"

Sonic: "Yeah, I guess I slept in a bit late, heheh"

Shadow: "Well if you would've been nice if you would've woken up early, dumbass."

Knuckles: "Shadow I swear to god, I will beat some sense into you."

Shadow: "Hmph, and you didn't beat me up yesterday. How foolish of you."

Blaze: "Ok, no need for arguments right now. But I do wanna talk about something. Did everyone get one of these when they went into their dorms?" Blaze said as she took out her Chaopad.

Amy: "Sure did! But what are they for exactly? Like I did see rules and general info about ourselves but is there any other purpose?"

Silver: "Quite frankly, there is something else."

Amy: "Really!? What is it, Silver!?"

Silver: "If you scroll to the end of the pad, then you'll see." We all did what Silver told us to do and there was everyone's names and an empty star figure next to each of the names?

Sonic: "What's the star figure that seems empty represent?"

Silver: "Simple answer: if you talk to someone during your free time, a fragment of the star will appear. Meaning that it'll determine the friendship growth you and the person you're talking to will begin to form more and more."

Daisy: "That seems cool! That'll help us become more closer in the future hopefully!"

Shadow: "Like I would ever become friends with you losers, hmph."

Daisy: "Geez, don't have to be such a party pooper."

Sonic: "Just ignore him, he's always like this." I whispered to Daisy. Daisy nodded back in understanding.

Peach: "Well after we eat breakfast, how about we start exploring the area more and see what's around?"

Knuckles: "Sounds good with me!"

Shadow: "I prefer to work alone." All of us turned to him after he said that.

Daisy: "You really think that's a good idea?!"

Shadow: "Of course, why would I need to work with people like you?"

Sonic: "Well, at least eat breakfast first before you head off?"
