It's 3:00 am when Lance McClain gets a notification from a Vlogger he had almost forgotten about. The brunette watches the video and notices that that was not the Keith he knew. He opened up Messenger and clicked on their DM;

Seeing him sitting in front of me again takes my breath away for a moment, Keith looks older and tired now. Well, he always looked tired. I think that's part of his aesthetic. Edgy vlogger that gets zero sleep. Yeah, definitely.

Keith is sitting, cross legged on his bed. He's wearing a tank top and ripped black jeans. His hair is in a low ponytail. A gay pride flag and various posters are hung behind him just like in most of his videos. Fairy lights are hung up on the ceiling, illuminating his room dimly. He has a notebook in his hand and he's writing something. There's music playing in the background, it's coming from his phone, I think.

Keith looks up at me, "Are you just going to stare at me or are we gonna talk about this collab?"

His sentence processes in my mind and my face flushes, I force a laugh.

"Right, sorry, you just look different."

"Well, people do change, Lance. You obviously have- nice flag by the way."

I realize and turn to glance at my Bi flag hanging behind me among fanart I had received from fans. "Thanks, I guess. So, um about this collab."

"Mhm..?" Keith looks back down at his notebook. The song changes, and I take a deep breath. I have no idea why I'm so nervous. This is Keith. I've known him for three years. We used to be best friends, so what changed?

"I was thinking it could be a series, like we used to do. The adventures of Keith and Lance?"

That got Keith's attention, "Holy shit, you mean that series we did two years ago? The ghost-hunting bullshit?"

"Yeah! I'm moving close to you soon. So, how about it?"
