Chapter 1
Miranda
5.....4.....3.....2.....1 HAPPY NEW YEARS, me and Vonte yelled to the top of our lungs at the New Year's Eve parade. The kids was with Vonte's mother since me and him was planning to be alone with each other before the wedding cause we know that we will not be able to see each other tomorrow until the wedding starts. The kids are 5 years old now and getting ready to start pre-school in a few months. But one last thing me and Vonte are expecting again but he don't know. I'm going to surprise him on his birthday which is only in a few days. I can't wait to see the expression on his face when I tell him but I also can't believe my baby about to be 24. He makes me feel so young but i know I'm old. Me and Vonte been so busy these past years trying to prepare our wedding together and since it's a new year, we trying to just focus on our family and nothing else.

The Next Day
I was in the dressing room with my bridesmaids getting dress for the wedding. I only had about 6 hours till the wedding begins. My stomach was just turning so bad I felt like I could just throw up right now. My head was spending and I was so nervous that I can't believe what I'm about to do. I wish my parents was here with me so my dad could walk me down the aisles but I guess Dante could do that for me. But anyways my friend Char was doing my hair for the wedding while the others was getting dress as well. Char is one of my close friend that I use to bang with when I was living in Chicago. My other best friend Leah is one of my bridesmaid too. She was another one of my friend that was by my side in Chicago. Me and her stop talking once I moved to California. But now we back close.
When Char was done with my hair I let Nicole do my makeup since she was such a pro in doing makeup as she would say. As Nicole was doing my makeup I heard my phone buzz on the dressing room desk. So I paused Nicole on doing my makeup and read the message. It was from Javontae "Baby I can't wait to see you today and I miss waking up to your beautiful smiling face this morning, I can't wait till our honeymoon you gone love it but I know you trying to get all cute and shit so ima let you get dressed, I love you baby." When I got done reading the message tears started to flow down my cheek as the mascara was running to.
Nicole: Dammit Mimi wtf wrong with you fool now I got to redo this shit all over again. She said in an angry tone
Me: Sorry I'm just a lil too emotional today
She redid my makeup over again. When she was done I looked at the clock and I had about 2 hours left till the wedding. I still got to do my hair then Alaina's hair. I let my bridesmaids get theirselves together while I put Alaina hair up into one ponytail then I put a big white bow on her head. When I finish her hair I put her on her dress and she put on her shoes herself. Then I let my bridesmaids help me put on my dress because I didn't want to rip it or anything. Then Leah help me out on my heels. It's been so long since I walked in heels I hope I don't fall. Char got up to go check on the boys.
Char Pov.
I went to the boys dressing room to make sure everything was okay but when I got in the room Kanden was acting a fool and Javontae was looking like he was just stressed the fuck out.
Me: He must be giving you a hard time uh? I said looking at Kanden
Vonte: Yea ima give you his stuff and you can take him with you because he acting like his mom now.
Me: Kanden why you so damn bad boy. I said with a laugh as he just stared at me
Vonte: Here, just bring him back when he all ready. He said handing me the clothes and shoes
I nodded as I grabbed Kanden wrist and guided him to the ladies dressing room. When we got in there Miranda head snapped back with anger in her eyes.
Miranda: Why the hell he's not dress?
Me: Vonte said he was acting stubborn again guhl so here go his stuff.
Miranda: Omg why he wanna act up today? She said motioning Kanden to come here
Then Kanden went over by her as I begin to put on my heel we only had about a hour left now and time was ticking fast. By the time Kanden get dress it will be time for the wedding to start.

Minutes later
Miranda was done getting Kanden dress so I took him back with Vonte so we could start the wedding. I rushed back to the room where the bridesmaids were and everyone was looking so beautiful. I went to go look at the audience and it was a lot of people out there I swear. Damn I even spied Javontae other baby momma she was looking cute.
Javontae Pov.
It was that time man. Damn I'm about to get married to the love of my life. This shit feels so unreal but I just can't till our honeymoon so I can make sweet love to her all night long. But anyways Char had brought Kanden back he start acting better I guess with his spoil ass. My heart was beating so fast I thought I was about to faint but too late for that cause I'm about to walk down the aisle. As I was walking down the aisle I saw Tasha she was looking cute but I know Miranda gone look better. The pastor was already up at the alter waiting. Once I got to the alter the grooms and bridesmaids began to come out one by one. Then Carmen and Alaina came down the aisle throwing rose pebbles down the aisle then they sat down in the front row. Then I saw Miranda and Dante getting ready to walk to the alter. "All rise for the bride" the pastor said as everyone got up from their seats. Miranda was looking to fine like she always been beautiful but I never see her this fine before I guess Char and Nicole did a good job ima give them they props for that but I just can't wait till honeymoon. I was snapped out of my thought when the pastor asked Dante if he will accept to give Miranda away. Dante nodded his head and walked off to his seat. "Yall may be seated" the pastor said to the guests. The ceremony started "Dearly beloved we are gather here today for holy matrimony with this wonderful couple, Javontae Boyd and Miranda Wilson". He read a scripture from the bible ( the scripture came from Proverbs 5:18-19). "We will have the couple read their vows".
Miranda: On this day I give you my heart Javontae so hopefully you don't break it but I promise to be your lover, companion and friend, your partner in parenthood, your greatest fan and playmate. I promise to respect you and encourage you in anything and cherish you in health and sickness through success for all the days of my life. She said with tears falling from her eyes
Me: I never knew this day would of came because of how stubborn your ass was to me but I guess things can always change but Miranda I take you as my partner, bestfriend, baby momma, and playmate for life. I promise to always live in truth with you. I will love you, honor and hold you. I will cherish you in health and sickness through sorrow and success for all the days of my life and also through where ever our journey leads us. I love you forever.
As the audience cheered in awwwes me and Miranda laughed. " We will need the rings now" the pastor said. Kanden and my mom brought down the rings. It was too funny because Kanden didn't know how to walk down the aisle and so my mom had to help him. He acting all shy today and shit but just wait till he get home. But anyways we grabbed the rings and we repeated after the pastor.......(skips*******). Then the pastor did a prayer for us. "So now I announce to you all Mr and Mrs. Boyd, you may now kiss your bride" the pastor said. We kissed and the kiss instantly got a little deep but we pulled away when Kanden ran up to us. Damn this boy can ruin a good kiss.

Hours Later
Miranda Pov.
I had to get the hell out of that dress and them damn heels. My fucking feet was killing me. My back was hurting but I can't back down now I got to turn up. I change into my twerk outfit which was some booty shorts and a white crop top and my 11s blue legends. The music was blasting at the reception and everyone was on the dance floor getting it. I pulled Vonte by his shirt on the dance floor and start dancing on him. Then next thing you know the damn dj start playing slow old school songs and Vonte mom ran on the floor and start dancing. Everybody was laughing they ass off. Then we played some music for the kids like the Naenae, we even had a competition with the kids and Kanden bad ass was just showing out. The reception was so fun.
