Part 2

"H h hi." I stuttered. My body felt hot. My palms were sweating as though they had to fill a pool In five minutes. My breathing was raced. My feet were planted in the ground as my body was frozen still not daring to move. I was petrified. Even though I was scared, I wasn't scared of him, I was scared of what he would think of me. "Is that all your going to say to me?" He chuckled slightly. His smile must have been carved from god himself. Jughead Jones was the definition fo cute, perfect and hot all in one. As I stared off I realised he was no longer in front of me. He was on the other end of the room as I was staring at the wall. My checks blushed bright red. God what was this man doing to me? I found the nerve to stand up and walk over to the chair infroissable of his desk. "So, I read your story Betty and may I say your have a special talent. Your writing is captivating. I couldn't put it down. You can ask anyone here and they will all say that as soon as I read your story I refused to read any others I fil I had met you." He spoke so fondly of me, even when the story I had wrote was and I quote my mother here 'trash'. She could be harsh but I could tolerate her. "So on that note Betty I would like to invite you to work with me on my next book. You could work from where you currently live of course and send me the pages via email. How does that sound?"

I couldn't believe what o was hearing. WTF. This guy. Jughead Jones. He wants ME to work with HIM on his next book. "That would be an honour." I replied and surprisingly I didn't stutter once.

After a few weeks I have gotten to know Jughead very well. I would consider him a good friend. I had sent him 30 pages in total. I hadn't had much time to write as I did have another everyday job. Later that evening though I got a email from him with his phone number. I squealed. I had never once told anyone this as it sounded nerdy but I had had the biggest crush of Jughead Jones since I had read his first book. I just couldn't believe it. I quickly added him as a contact into my phone and messaged him straight away.

B: Hi
J:Hi
B: Why did you send me your number?
J:Because I don't want to just be work buddies. I want to get to know you.
B:Wow ok. Well hi new found friend. I hope you have had a food day :)
J: As a matter of fact friend I have. :)))

We talked for hours onwards and arranged to meet up next weekend. He also told me he was moving near me so that we could work easier.

Today was the day I was meeting Jughead. I was nervous. I was going to tell him my feelings for him but I was scared of the rejection sure to come from his lips. As I slipped on my boots and grabbed my bag I checked that everything was intact. I left the house locking the door on the way and jumped into my car. My car was old and battered as I've had it since I could drive. But I loved it. Soon enough I arrived at the cafe. La Bonne Nuit. It looked cosy. I made my way inside to find Jughead already there. "Hi Juggie. I didn't think you would be here yet." I noticed the sweat on his palms indicating he was nervous. "Ok umm Betts we have been speaking and working together for a while and over that period I have developed ummm f f feelings for y umm you." You could practically see the nerves on his skin as he spoke. My heart burst with joy at the sound of his words as I grabbed his face from across the table and smashed my lips to his.

5 years later
Me and Jughead Cot married 2 years ago and I am now carrying our little child. It's a girl but I haven't told Juggie as he wanted to wait. I'm so excited. I'm 33 weeks in meaning I'm huge but still have 7 more to go. I couldn't be happier. I couldn't believe this was actually real. This was real.
