The school bell rang, telling us to go home. I grabbed my bag and met Flash by the door.

"Just in case my plans change, and I'm not counting on it, can I get your phone number?" I ask him.

"Sure honey," he says as he writes down his number on my wrist. "See you tomorrow."
I smile and hug him. He walks away right as Happy pulls up.

"Bye guys!" I wave to Peter and Ned. As soon as I get in the car, Happy starts questioning me.

"Who was that Y/n? The one that just wrote his number on your wrist? Tony's going to kill you," he starts warning me.

"Chill out, Happy. Tony doesn't get to control my whole life. That was Flash, and we're going to go on a date tomo-"

"A WHAT?! Tony is going to murder you Y/n!"

"It's fine. Flash is really sweet, and Tony told me to make friends, so I did!"

"I don't think that's what he meant, but okay. How was school?"

"It was fine. I met Flash and two other boys named Peter and Ned. They're really nice." I could've sworn I saw Happy's expression change when I said Peter, but I ignored it.

"Just boys?" he asked.

"Yes Happy, just boys," I say, annoyed.

"Okaaaay," he says then shuts up for the rest of the car ride, thankfully.

When we get home, I see all the Avengers sitting on the couch, watching one of the
Mission Impossible movies (I actually love Mission Impossible).

"How was your first day of public school?" Natasha asks, turning away from the screen. "Did you make any friends?"

"Yeah actually. And I have a date tomorrow with a really nice guy named Flash. We ran into each other in the hallway."

"No WAY!" she almost yells, causing the others to turn around. "Tony is going to FLIP."

"Whatever. He doesn't control my life."

"Just saying, I wouldn't tell him if I were you. You'll probably get grounded," Sam buts in.

"You'll get in even more trouble if he figures out you lied to him as well, though," Steve says. "I'd just cancel it before he gets mad."

"No way! I'm actually excited, and Flash is super sweet, I trust him," I respond to Steve. "I'm not just going to cancel my first date because my dad thinks I'm too young! I'm a sophomore! I'm almost 16!"

"She has a point. She is getting old enough," Nat says.

"I think she's still to young to date. I started dating when I was in college," Bruce replies.

"I'm not waiting until college! That's so dumb! All of my friends have been dating since middle school! It's not fair!" I say, storming up the stairs, and into my room. I slam the door and lock it. I sit on my bed for a solid ten minutes before I hear a knock on my door.

"What do you want?" I growl.

"It's Bucky. I just wanted to talk," Bucky responds sweetly.

"Fine. You can come in, but lock the door behind you." He does as I ask and walks over to my bed, laying next to me.

"You okay?" he asks.

"Yeah, I'm just upset that I'm "not old enough" and everyone thinks I shouldn't date. I really like this guy, and it's nothing serious yet."

"I know. I think you are mature enough, Y/n." The room is silent for a few minutes before he speaks up again, "How about I'll help you pick out a dress for tomorrow, and then help cover for you, but then you'll have to help me prank Steve?"
