Chapter six

Kayla's Pov

It's been a week since I kissed Matt and we still hangout but I promised myself I wasn't going to kiss him again until he asked me out. I went over to his house the one day. When I got over there I knocked on the door and it opened no one was there so I walked in. "Hello?" I say. There was no answer. So I walked up to Matts room. I walked and there was no one there. I looked at the bed and there was a box and a note. I walked up to it and read the note.

'Dear Kayla, I fell in love with you the very first day I saw you at the bus stop. I never knew what people meant by 'you will get butterflies in your stomach' until I talked to you. I didn't know what it was like to hear someone's name or thing of it and smile like crazy, until I learned your name. And I never thought it was possible to fall more in love with you, until I see you smile then I fall more in love with you. I love you so much and I really home one day you will fall in love with me again. Love, Matt'

I was in awe, that was the cutest thing I have ever read. I put the note down and opened the box. Inside was the beautiful black dress with pink vans. They were both so cute. As I was taking them out I saw another note.

'I see you found my present. Now I want you to go home, get ready and be ready to leave at 6:00pm sharp'

I smiled and I rushed home to get ready. I jumped into the shower. When I got out I put on some spandex and a loose shirt. I then stared to do my hair. I blew it dry, then I put a waterfall braid in then curled the bottoms. I then applied some make up, not very much just my normal makeup some mascara and then I added some pink eye shadow and then I put a little bit of eye liner. I then went and put my dress on. It was super pretty. I looked at the clock, it is 5:56pm so I went downstairs and waited.

Matts Pov

Today is going to be the day I ask Kayla out. I wasn't sure at first but after that kiss I knew that there was still something between us. We made plans to hangout, so I knew she was going to come to my house. I felt that door open a little bit so when she knocked it opened, then I put an outfit in a box with a note in my room because I knew that's were she would go first then I hid in the closet.

I heard her walk in then I saw her walk into my room. When she read the letter she looked like she was about to cry, she was so happy. She took the outfit out and left. I came out of the closet and got ready myself. The next think I knew it was 6:53 so I started to head to Kayla's.

When I got there she was standing there and she looked gorgeous, I swear I just fell more in love with her. "Ready to go?" She asks pulling me out of my thoughts. I nod and we head to my truck. We drive to this little restaurant that I knew she loves.

We ordered our food and we just talked. After we were done eating we ordered dessert. The waitress brought out this chocolate cake for the two of us to share. We ate that and then we left, we got back to my house and I had the basement set up for us. There was lights hanging up, and then a mattress sitting in the middle of the room. "Wanna watch a movie?" I ask. She smiles, nods and goes and jumps onto the mattress.

We start watching 'The Vow' I didn't realize how relatable it was to our situation. "Hey this is kinda like what is happening to us." She says smiling. I nod and couldn't take my eyes off of her. She started to notice and she got all giggly. "What are you doing? The screen is that way." She says gesturing to the tv. "But I like this view better." I say smiling she looks at me and starts to blush.

"Kayla I've wanted to do this for the longest time and I never knew when the right time was. After the accident I was madly in love with you but you didn't even know who I was and it really hurt, but it wasn't your fault. But Kayla will you be my girlfriend?" I ask looking into her eyes. She looks at me and just stares at me. It felt like for ever when she finally answered.

"Matt I would love to be your girlfriend more then anything. I've started to fall for you more and more everyday and after that kiss the other day I knew I wanted to be with you." She says smiling I look at her, smile and grab her face and pull her in for a kiss.
