Chapter nineteen

*Two months later*

Kayla's Pov

I am now 4 months pregnant and I'm really starting to show. I've been to the doctor once every 2 weeks and the doctor says the baby looks perfect. She kept asking me if I wanted to know the sex but I kept saying no because I want to be surprised.

Everyday I take Skylynn to the park or I go and hang out with Kaitlyn. She has been a really big help lately with everything she's just wonderful right now. Matt and I have sorta made up a little bit, we are talking more but nothing really big. He's told me that he loves me but I never say anything back.

Christmas is in two months and Nash told Skylynn that he's coming home for Christmas and Matt told me that he was coming home to and that he was spending it with us.

"Kaylaaaaaaa." Skylynn says running into my room. "I'm sleeping. Let me sleep." I say rolling over. "Noooooo you said you would take me shopping today!" She says jumping on the bed. "Why do you want to go shopping?" I ask her. "Because I want to spend the day with you but mommy wants us out of the house!" She says sitting beside me. "Fine let me get dressed." I say. She gets a big smile on her face and runs out of the room.

I put legging and a sweater on so I hide my baby bump because I get dirty looks all the time. I then throw my hair up into a messy bun and put a little bit of make up on. I then walk down stairs and Skylynn is sitting at the door waiting for me. "Are you ready to go?" I ask grabbing my keys. "Yesss!" She says and jumps up and runs out to my car. I get her all buckled in then I get in and drive to the mall.

We walk around for a little bit and she's having fun looking at all the clothes and shoes. We bought her a couple little sun dresses and some new shoes. She was having lots of fun trying clothes on and showing me. At 11:45am she was getting hungry so we went to the food court and got something to eat.

*A few hours later*

We were on our way home when Skylynn decided she wanted to go to the park for a little bit. So we did. She was playing on the slide and I was just sitting on the swing. I was sitting there and I got a really sharp pain in my stomach and it hurt so much I broke out into tears. "Oh my Kayla are you okay?" Skylynn asks running up to me. "I don't know. We need to get home now." I say and try and stand up. I get up and I make it to the car. We get to the house really quickly but I couldn't get out of the car so Skylynn ran into the house and got Elizabeth.

"Kayla what's wrong?" Elizabeth asks me opening the door. "I don't know. My stomach it really hurts." I say in between cries. "Okay let's get you to the hospital." She says getting me out of the car. She gets me into the back seat of her car and I'm bawling my eyes out. I feel like someone is stabbing me. But why? "Elizabeth is the baby going to be okay? What's wrong with me why is this happening?" I ask freaking out. "I really hope so. I don't know what's happening but we are almost at the hospital so we will find out right away." She says.

We pull into the hospital and she gets me out of the back seat and she helps me in. "Excuse me we need some help over here." She yells at all the nurses and one finally stops. "What can we do?" The nurse asks. "My daughter here is going through some weird stomach pains and we are very worried about the baby." She says pointing at my stomach. "Oh my okay let's get you a room." She says and gets us into a room.

"Okay Ms Kayla what seems to be the problem?" The nurse asks getting the ultrasound machine out. "Well I was at the park sitting on the swing when all of a sudden it felt like someone was stabbing me." I say crying a little less now. "Okay well we are going to see how the baby is doing then we can find out what's wrong." She says and starts looking. "Well it looks here that the baby has a really high heart rate. But I don't see why that is giving you pains." She say. "What why is the heart rate up?" I ask freaking out a little.

"It's perfectly normal. When the parent is going through stress normally the baby can feel it and there heart rate goes up." She says. (I don't know if that's true but let's pretend it is!) I calmed down a little and she put the ultrasound machine away. I laid in the bed the pain had gone away a little bit but not a whole lot. "We are going to put you through a cat scan to see if we can see what's wrong." She says I nod and I get in right away for it.

After the scan I was put back into my room and she wouldn't let me leave until I got my results back. "Elizabeth you can leave you don't have to stay here. You and Sky are both tiered." I say. "No we aren't leaving until we find out what's wrong with you. Anyway Sky looks comfy anyway." She says pointing to Skylynn laying on the chair by my bed. I just smile and lay down. A few hours later the nurse comes back.

"Well we got the results back. But nothing looks wrong. I'm sorry we don't know what was causing the pains. Do you still have them?" She asks. "Not really. For the most part they have gone away. Do you think it could have just been something that I ate?" I ask. "I'm not sure but we want to keep you over night so we can keep an eye on you and your baby." She says with a smile. I smile back and nod my head.

I look over at Elizabeth and she has a smile on her face and a few tears in hers eyes. The nurse leaves and she comes over to my bed. "Well that good news, nothing seems to be wrong. I'm going to take Skylynn home and we will be back later to see if anything has changed." She says and kissing my forehead and picks Skylynn up and leaves. I had my phone so I texted Matt to tell him what has happening.

Hey I want to tell you before you find out from someone else. But I'm in the hospital right now because I was having stomach pains. But the baby's fine and they don't know what was causing the pains. So I'm staying the night but I should be home by tomorrow. Can you tell the rest of the guys so I don't have to explain to all of them?

(Sorry it took me so long guys to update but here you are! I hope you guys liked it! I was having troubles trying to get this chapter started but I finally got it! Yay me! What did you guys think? I wanted her to end up in the hospital but I didn't want anything bad to happen to the baby so I just kinda made things up as I went along!)
