3rd Person:

The Argo 2 sits helplessly on top of the water, waiting for either Jason and Hazel to succeed or the mouth of a giant sea turtle. They sit in silence as dread sets upon their shoulders, waiting anxiously to continue on their voyage across the coast of Croatia. Piper McLean leans on the rail, looking up at the cliff whilst spinning the point of her knife into the splintered wood (something she was sure she would get scolded for by a stressed out son of Hephaestus).

Was Piper anxious? Of course she was! She's on the cusp of being eaten alive by a massive mother fucking turtle if they failed for crying out loud! She sighs, stabbing the point deeper into the timber. If only she was more useful, maybe she could have used her charms speak to convince the pirate/bandit to let them go. But then again that all she has. Charms speak, a cornucopia filled with food and a knife that predicts the future. And that's it. That's the daughter of Aphrodite for ya. Wow! The powers she holds!

She doesn't have powers over the weather like Jason or the brains like Annabeth, she couldn't shift like Frank or throw fireballs or build battleships like Leo. She can't control the dead like Nico and she definitely can't control metal, earth and FREAKIN magic like Hazel! She was useless! Why was she even here?! They could have picked a far more experienced demigod that would be far more skilled than she is.

Piper takes a deep breath, running her hand through her brown hair and sheathing her knife. She should be grateful. She was alive at least, or at least for now. Percy isn't. She rest her arms on the rail before putting her cheek on top of it, looking sideways at the turtle. She always imagined she would die, everyone does eventually especially for a demigod. It's just hard to imagine what it must've been like to die that young. She couldn't even think about it.

She looks over her shoulder at the rest of her crew mates. They are all in similar positions as her, either looking up at the cliff, watching the turtle or distracting themselves. All with solemn expressions. She doesn't like that. Not at all. She wanted to make them happy or at least calm for now, not waiting for the imposing fear of death that spins in their minds and tugs at their hearts. She wanted to take their minds off the situation, even if it's for a little while.

The daughter of Aphrodite straitened her back as an idea pops into her head, her kaleidoscope shining with mirth as she remembers a distant memory. She assesses her friends again before moving across the deck to sit right in the middle, eyes watching in confusion. She sends a small smile to all of them patting the spaces beside her, indicating that she wants them to sit.

"I want to tell you guys a story."

"Why? If you haven't noticed yet, Piper but my little sister and your boyfriend is up there with a murderer whilst we are down here with a giant man-eating turtle. I don't think it's time for a chat."

States a certain 16 year old moody son of Hades, him leaning against the mast or the ship. His body language and facial expression screams 'DON'T TALK OR LOOK AT ME AND IF YOU DO, I'LL KILL YOU!' But his dark chocolate eyes hold nothing but anxiety and fear. He protested against Hazel leaving, explaining that it was too dangerous and she could get hurt or worse killed. The daughter of Pluto got annoyed at her brother, staying that she is more than capable to take care of herself. But she could see in his eyes back then as she can right now that he doesn't want to lose her. It was sad to watch.

She was worried about Jason too, but she knows that he is also capable of taken care of himself but it doesn't hurt to worry. Out of the corner of her eye she could see Kekoa lazily stalking his way towards Annabeth, head butting her knee and gesturing towards Piper. A clear message was received. Sit. The fluffy saber tooth tiger paws his way towards Frank and then Nico, until everyone is sitting in a circle. It took a few more seconds with Leo, who was fixing something with the canons. The cub growled at the son of Hephaestus making him jump. Her friend sighs in defeat before picking the cat up, being careful of the sharp fangs.
