"Why'd you run away?"

"You're making it seem like you're interrogating your lost cat."

"Well I am, right? Technically, you are my kitten."

Minho blushed at the words, deciding to stare at his lap instead of Jisung. He felt a bit guilty; he had worried the younger and caused a messy situation, after all. He shouldn't have run away.

"I ran away because I saw you and Hyunjin.. you know.."

Jisung's eyes had widened in surprise, his breath hitching as a burning feeling settled in his stomach.

"I didn't mean to.. He texted to come over, he brought alcohol, we both got drunk and things got out of hand. Look, I'm sorry kitten. That's all I can do, apologize, I'm sorry. I know it won't be enough, it won't keep you with me, but I'm sorry. I guess it's better than saying some lie. I'm sorry for having sex with him, Min, you're my everything."

Having.. sex?

They had.. sex?

Minho's eyes had watered at the words as he let out a choked sob. Jisung was going to leave him for Hyunjin. He really was. 'He must be bored of you', 'you're too much work' and other negative thoughts overpowered his mind.

"Kitty please look at me. You were taking it so well earlier, what happened?"

The older stayed silent. Jisung really thought he was going to stay calm at the fact that Jisung got sick of him for a moment? For a second, Minho wasn't the first thing that came to Jisung's mind and that hurt. Surely, it wouldn't take long for Jisung to gain feelings for Hyunjin? Him and Jisung had been together since high school, so now in college, of course Jisung wouldn't want him anymore. He's broadened his views, he's raised his standards, he's realized he can do way better than Minho.

Minho experienced two types of heartbreak that day. One from his lover, and one from his friend. Only one heartbreak had healed, because Jisung had looked at him with those doe eyes, and who was Minho to deny an apology like that?

It had been the first time he'd seen Jisung cry. The younger felt so guilty that he cried, and sobbed in the taller's embrace when Minho accepted his apology.

"Please don't cry, I forgave you, it's okay.."

"I don't deserve to be forgiven! Minho, I regret it so much, god, I love you so much, I don't want to lose you, never," Jisung had cried out, the older pulling away to run his hand through his lover's hair, looking at the younger's face with sympathy.

"It's okay, Sungie, I chose to forgive you myself. I won't leave you and I love you too," Minho had answered all Jisung's statements carefully, pressing a kiss to his boyfriend's nose.

"You're too good for this world, Minnie," the shorter had sniffled, yet pouted for a kiss when he met Minho's eyes. The older had laughed softly before meeting his lover's lips in a rosy, gentle kiss. It wasn't rushed, neither was it awkward and too slow. It was just perfect. It made Minho feel giddy inside, like he fell in love again.

And if so, he wouldn't mind falling in love with Jisung all over again each and every day for the rest of his life.

"Wait, does that mean I've got to ignore him now?"

Minho and Jeongin were facetiming, both of them in their respective beds. Jisung was scrolling through Instagram next to his boyfriend, sometimes joining in on the conversation.

Minho had just explained what happened to his best friend, and frankly, how Hyunjin had acted (Jisung did not leave a single detail out, not hesitating to say that Hyunjin more or less acted like Minho was a hassle to be friends with).

"I mean, no, I guess you don't have to ignore him. This is between me and him, you don't have to get involved.."

"Don't say that, baby! Jeongin, no offense, but if you're a good friend you'd know what to do. If Minho is your best friend, like you stated, you'd know," Jisung chimed in with a huff, coming to lay on top of Minho.

"Heavy ass," the older had complained, but relished the feeling of Jisung's chest against his back anyway. It was a secure warmth he wouldn't ever dare to shove away.

"Jisung, you literally cheated on Min and then proceeded to bawl like a baby for Minho to forgive you. I really shouldn't be taking advice from you, but I guess you're right. If Hyunjin is shit-talking about Minho to you, what will he be gossiping about me to someone else? As I said, you never know with snakes. I have made up my mind, Lee Minho, you're my ride or die," the youngest spoke with slight exaggeration in his voice, making the brunette on the other line giggle lightly.

"As you should, Minho's my ride or die as well," Jisung had singsonged, happily squeezing Minho as tight as he could. The older had groaned and huffed, barely making it through the smaller's death-trap.

"Minho, you are about to die and frankly, I do not want to witness it. Also! Chan is coming over today and I think I'm going to absolutely cry the second I see him. Should I send a picture so you can visualize the prince I am about to see with my own damn eyes?"

"No, we've met, actually. I think he went to high school with me."

No, Minho wasn't exactly ready to share his whole life story with Jeongin. Yes, he did like the other, he was his best friend, too, along with Seungmin, but his past traumas are only for Jisung to know. Only Jisung can know.

"Really?! What was he like, I need to know for scientific purposes!"

"Kind of bad-boyish, like Jisung over here," the younger had smacked Minho at that, "but he wanted to be like, the good bad boy. Like the bad boy who helps kittens get out of trees, you know?"

"I'm going to combust, wait, I'm crying," Jeongin spoke hastily before all three boys tensed up at the sound of Jeongin's doorbell.

"Do I look okay?" he had said after about 15 seconds of silence. Poor Chan must've been confused, standing in front of the seemingly never-opening door.

"Yes, just go!"
