"She says she won't be long, just hanging with the girls."

"Lisa? You alright there?" A snap of a finger and the sound of an Aussie voice startled Lisa out of her deep thoughts.

"Your thoughts seem deeper than Mariana Trench. What's got you in that mood?" Rosé was leaning back against Lisa's office desk as she looks at the blonde in confusion. "You didn't even notice me barge in here saying 'GoOd dAy mATe'."

Rosé tried to lift up the mood as if she was sensing Lisa's somber one.

Lisa just let out a soft smile as if she's trying to reasure both the redhead and herself. "Sorry about that Chipmunk, I was just thinking about our monthly report and all." Lisa points at the stack of papers in the desk.

"Yeah, right..." Rosé looks at her, not believing what she was saying. Wasn't she looking at the wall though? Why? Is the wall pretty?

Lisa cleared her throat, "Did you need anything Chaeng?"

"Nothing."

What?

"Why? You don't want me here?" the redhead frowned at the blonde.

"What?" Lisa furrowed her brows in confusion. "Of course I do!"

"wHaT?! oF cOUrSe i DO!" The other girl mimicked in a teasing manner and smirked towards the Thai.

"Are you OK?" Lisa looked at Rosé in confusion and exasperation. What's wrong with her?

Rosé's playful look all but vanished and instead was replaced with a very serious one. "I should be the one asking you that."

"Are you OK Lisa? You called last night out of the blue then suddenly hanged up on me. Now I find you in your office sulking—"

"I do not sulk!" Lisa interjected.

Rosé glared at Lisa for interrupting her, "The point is, you haven't been yourself this past few days and I'm worried about you, we're worried about you. I don't know what's happening, but is something stressing you out? I know it's not work related so don't lie to me." Rosé's accent is more prominent when she's angry.

This seemed to shock Lisa as she just stared at Rosé with wide eyes, she did not know how to reply to thr girl's sudden out burst.

She and Jisoo-unnie noticed? Does this mean Jennie noticed too?

Lisa both thought in worry and hope.

Worry because she did not want Rosé and Jisoo to be bothered with her problems.

Hope because, what if Jennie noticed her inner conflicts right now?

Does she even care to notice? That bitter thought makes her want to scream.

Rosé's eyes suddenly softened like she sensed Lisa's internal struggle. "Lisa-yah you know Jisoo and I are your bestfriends right?" She slowly leans forward and carefully grabs one of Lisa's hand.

"Jisoo and I may not exactly know what's happening with you and..." Rosé seemed to hesitate. "Well, If you want someone to talk too, just know both of us, we're here for you." Rosé sincerely says as she softly squeezes Lisa's hands.

Just those words and gesture alone makes Lisa want to pour out all the pain but instead she just bites her lower lip to prevent herself from spilling out everything.
