Chapter 7 - you did what?

a couple of months later

Sally and I were walking from school when I got a phone call. wonder who that is. i picked up my phone and saw that it was Jack. I answered with a smile on my face.

me: hey babe

Jack: hey I'm on my way to you now

me: what? why?

Jack: I have left the band and I need somewhere to stay for a while.

me: but Jack?

Jack: we can talk about it later, see you soon

then he hang up

Sally: what was that about?

I was shocked, i didn't know what to say.

me: Jack has left the band.

Sally: he did what?

me: i know we are gonna talk about it later. anyway i see you later Sally

Sally: yeah call me if somethings wrong

me: i will

i almost ran home because 1 I haven't seen Jack in a couple of months so I miss him a lot and 2 I need to talk to him about why he left the band. he would never leave the band without an explanation. then I saw him on the driveway. probably waiting for me. i smiled before running up to him and hugged him. i have missed him so much. tears were streaming down my face. i was so happy. happy to finally see him. he put me down again. before kissing me.

me: what are you doing here? why did you leave the band?

Jack: can we go inside first?

me: of course

Jack: does you mum know that I'm here?

me: no not yet i just got home from school. but we can talk to her.

he took him bag before walking inside the house. when we came in sammie and shaun ran downstairs as they always do and screamed happy when they saw Jack. mum came out from the kitchen shocked to see Jack.

mum: wait what are you doing here Jack? Rye said you had studio today?

Jack: i have left the band so thats why. can i stay here for a while until i find something on my own?

Mum: of course you are always welcome in this house. stay as long as you want to and of course Emilia will be a lot happier when you are around

Jack: yeah

he smiled against me.

me: we are going up to my room

mum: okay i will call you when the dinner is ready

me: btw when is dad coming home?

mum: soon i hope but he won't be late for dinner.

me: okay he need to help me with the tv in my room

mum: of course

i smiled before taking Jacks hand and walked upstairs. when we came into my room i closed the door and hugged him.

me: i have missed you

Jack: i have missed you too

we sat down on my bed and i was looking at him and he looked down on the bed.

me: so can we talk about it know?

Jack: i feel like an awful boyfriend

me: what?

he looked me in the eyes

Jack: the band was more important then you. i thought maybe thats why you didn't fell well i never had time for you. i just cared about that stupied band. i want to be there for you and take care of you and when i were a part of roadtrip i couldn't do that. so i left because i want to be a good boyfriend for once. and take care of you. because i love you Emilia and i don't want to lose you. you are the only thing i have left.

i saw the tears in his eyes

me: Jacky

i hugged him

me: you are a great boyfriend. and i didn't leave because you didn't have time for me. i just needed to be alone and be with my family. Jack i love you and i will always love you. you were a great boyfriend even if you didn't have much time with me. i knew that you were busy and i accepted that because i know that you needed the boys and the band meant a lot to you. i would never move because of that. i just wanted to be alone for a while.

he hugged me really hard this time

Jack: you have no idea how much i love you

me: i love you too Jacky

he kissed me and i smiled. Jack mean so much to me and to see that he left the band because of me it hurt alot. i just want him to be happy thats all. after a while my door slam open and the twins jumped up on the bed to Jack. they wanted to play fortnite with him and at the end Jack agreed with it. so Jack left the room with an smile on his face and i called Rye. something must have happened. Jack would never leave the band. he knew why i left thats why i think this is a bit strange.

me: hey brother

Rye: hey sister it wasn't yesterday

me: no it wasn't, i wanted to talk about something

Rye: i guess it's about Jack leaving the band?

me: yes he would never do that. never

Rye: he did Emilia and you need to accept that. he didn't feel good on weeks. his mental health was just crashing down. he missed you and he felt anger because he thought it was his fault that you left. he loves you Emilia, a lot. and i understand that it's strange but it's his choice.

me: what do you mean with his mental health?

Rye: he didn't feel well Emilia. he was broken. don't tell him i said this but check his arms. then you will understand. and it's not your fault. he felt bad about his family he haven't met them for so long. he didnt had time for his sisters prom. and it was very important to her and him.

me: thanks Rye for telling me. i needed this. i got worried when he came here today. tell the boys that i miss them and love them okay.

Rye: i promise. i love you sis

me: i love you too

i throw the phone on the bed and looked down. why didn't he tell me. i need to check his arms tonight.
