I ran to the closest by map of the zoo I saw and got on my tip toes.

"Okey so I'm here and......there! Yes!" I yelled exciteldy and got some weird looks of some parents with their childs. I just shrugged it off and made a photo of it before going back to running again.

Penguins, here I come!

Jack's pov

"Okey where is she?!" I yelled and looked around. "Ave! Avery!"

"How did she even do this? She doesn't even know this zoo." Daniel answered. "Let's wait for Jonah and Corbyn to come back." 

"That was a short meeting with your girlfriend." Zach chuckled and I smacked him on the back of his head.

"She's not my girlfriend." I rolled my eyes but soon saw Jonah and Corbyn.

"Hey guys, where is Avery?" Jonah asked confused.

"We lost her." Daniel simply answered.

"How?" Corbyn laughed.

"She just ran off when we weren't looking." Zach replied. "Why Jack wasn't watching her is still a question tho." I pushed him a little as he chuckled.

"Anyways, we gotta find her." They all nodded.

"Let's seperate then and text each other to update." Corbyn stated before we all agreed and walked in different ways.

"Ugh where could she be?" I sighed as I could only see parents with their children. I ran a little further and found a map. "Okey if I was Avery, then where would I go- the penguins! Of course."

How could I be so stupid? Of course she's going to the penguins.

I ran my way to them and stopped to look around as I came closer.

A few little kids.....two parents...a girl....an crying kid...wait wait!

I turned back to the girl and smiled.

Avery.

She was bending over on the fence and watching the penguins. I walked over to her and sneaked my arms around her waist, startling her.

"Oh my god, Jack. You scared the shit out of me." She laughed nervously as I chuckled and smiled. "I'm sorry for running off but I just needed to see the penguins." Her eyes turned to them again and a smile creept on her face.

"Don't worry," I can't stay mad at her. She just wanted to see her favourite animals. "So this are the famous penguins?" I asked chuckling. She nodded and started to tell me all kind of things she loves about penguins.

The way her eyes lit up when she watches them....they're full with joy. And that cute smile of hers when she talks about them....she's so pretty.

I got an animal caretaker to get us closer to the penguins and Avery sat down on one of the rocks. They walked around her and she was smiling really big. I couldn't miss this chance to make a photo of her so when she didn't look I made one.

We gave them both a few fishes before going back and watching them from behind the fence and I held her waist again. I caught her smiling and blushing a little but I acted like I didn't see it.

"Jack?! Avery?!" We turned around and saw the boys running over to us.

"Ah shit I forgat to tell them that I found you." I sighed.

"So what do we do?" I looked at Avery and only one idea came up to my mind.

"Run," I grabbed her hand and pulled her in a different direction. We ran all the way to a little restaurant. We got in and took a big table in the very back.

"So what do we do now?" Avery asked as she let out a quiet laugh.

"Order food?" She laughed but nodded. We ordered some and not long after it came, the boys ran in too.

"There they are!" Zach slightly yelled and ran up to us. "You two are so- hey fries." He sat next to me and grabbed a few of my fries.

"Zach you serious?" Jonah asked.

"We got you coffee." I offered and he shrugged and sat down next to Avery, grabbing the coffee.

"Oh come on, are you serious gonna forgive them that fast? We ran through the whole zoo, have almost seen all the animals and are out of breathe." Daniel told us as he leaned on one of the handrails of the couches.

"Well we got to see the penguins." Avery smiled. I laughed and smiled too. Zach looked cheekily at me and I playfully pushed him.

"Avery do you wanna know something funny?" Zach asked her and smirked at me as I threw a glare at him.

"Uhm sure?" She replied.

"You remember yesterday when you sent us that picture of you and your friends?" Zach asked and I already knew where this was going. "Well Jack thought that-"

"We should make a photo together later." I cutted him off.

"Yeah sure." Avery smiled at all of us. "You all look a lot different than I thought at first actually."

"More handsome?" Zach joked as he finsihed the last few fries on my plate.

"Nah," He pushed her lightly and laughed. "I don't know, I just didn't expect you all like this." She shruggedm

"Well Jack actually hoped that-"

"Hey Zach I saw that they made some new fries. Let's get some." I pulled him up. "We'll be back soon." They nodded and Daniel and Corbyn sat down at our places. I pulled Zach to the food and leaned against the wall.

"I swear Zach, don't you tell her about that." I threatend him but he just keept on smiling at me.

"About what? That you thought she was the cutest out of her friends?" He teased.

"Yes, that." Zach chuckled.

"Don't worry, I won't. But you know that were with five, and you left three behind with her." My eyes went wide and sprinted to our table.

"Hey, where are your fries?" Corbyn asked.

"All the kids took them." Zach jumped in.

"So what are you guys talking about?" I asked and looked at all of them.

"Oh just about our plans in the zoo." Daniel shrugged.

"Yeah and since we know now where all the animals are," Corbyn gave me and Avery a playfully a quick glare. "We can show you what you want to see."

"Great so where do we go first?"

"Probably the elephants." Jonah answered.

"Yeah but before that, I gotta go visit the bathroom real quick." Avery told us and got out of the booth before walking off.

"Okey so-"

"Oh and Jack?" I turned to Avery confused as she looked at me. "I think you're the cutest too out of you five." She smiled, blushing a bit and then really walked towards the bathrooms.

I blushed and turned to the boys. 

"I told you, there were three other guys with her." Zach shrugged but laughed.

"Yeah we told her." Corbyn smiled at me. "She started blushing. You're doing it too right now." I rolled my eyes playfully and looked down before looking up at Daniel.

"What's wrong Daniel?"

"I'm happy for you, but feel kinda offened. I'm cute too, right?" I laughed and shook my head.

"Yeah yeah, sure." Not long after I said that Avery came back and the boys showed us the way to the elephants, making sure we looked around so we could see some other animals too.
