"Why do we have to sit with them?" I asked while Mingi and I were waiting in line to get food for on the cafeteria. Minho's last name was Park. Her older brother none other than the man named Park Jimin. He was one of my step brother, Jin's best friends as she was mine. I always thought Jimin was cute but I never had a full-on crush on him because he had a girlfriend. Her name was Nhi Lee. Mingi was forcing me to sit with her at my brother's signified lunch table for the week. Now, I really didn't mind being around my brother and his friends but what did bother me a bit was 2 of his posse had connections with me... close connections.
Min Yoongi- Suga and Jung Hoseok-J-hope. Suga and I have a past together no one knows about except for him, Jin and myself. Not even Mingi knows our story. But then, there's Hoseok. The man I've liked him since before what fell part between Yoongi and I. A long time ago, as I'm now 18."Yes Sols." Mingi insisted using my child-hood nickname. We have eachother nicknames a while back when we first became friends. Hers was 'Mings' and as you know, mine is 'Sols'.
"I don't see why you have a problem with us sitting with them, I mean all I know is that you freak out about being around J-Hope." Mingi spoke on sounding not even the slightest ounce of care in her tone.
"Well Mings, it's not just about Hope." I said annoyed.
"Who and why then?" Mingi highly screamed. I put y hand over her mouth to shut her up quickly.
She licked all over the palm of my hand.
"Suga." I said quietly under my breath, unsure if she had heard me or not. I could tell she still heard me though, because she looked at me with her mouth agape and eyebrows raised almost to the sun. I don't even know why I bothered to whisper, she's got really good listening skills."Min Yoongi?!" She shouted again this time causing the line to look at us. They finally decided to just turn back around when we picked up our trays and started heading towards the middle-aged women preparing the students meals. Mingi turned back to face me because I had avoided her question. I then started to nod slowly and she nearly flung her food off her try from the impact of her jumping unexpectedly.
"You have some explaining to do Sols, but we can discuss the matter after we eat our food with your brother and his friends." I scoffed and rolled my eyes at her obnoxiousness.
"Don't even think about mentioning the conversation we just had!" I said with a death-defying glare.
"Oh, what conversation?" A snarky voice asked. A far TOO familiar voice. Jungkook. My brother's posse consisted of Kim Namjoon-RM, Suga, J-hope, Jimin, Kim Teahyung-V, and Jeon Jungkook-Jungkook. I hadn't yet noticed that we were already at the lunch table until Jungkook opened his mouth."Nothing, besides it's none of your business, Jk!" I quickly spat out whilst everyone else gave me a wide-eyed look including Mingi. For a moment everyone was silent. Mingi and I then decided to find our seats and V started to talk.
"So, are y'all ready about this weekend?" He asked with an excited smile plastered onto his boxy lips. I furrowed my eyebrows due to having no clue as to what he was leading on. I suddenly understood that I was the only one who had no clue about what he meant because as I was looking around, everyone had annoyed expressions painted on their faces.
"What are you talking about, Taetae?" I asked batting my eyelashes and using one of his many well-known nicknames. Jungkook, looked taken back by my sudden eye movement.
"I- Ugh nothing, Bie." He nervously chuckled and stuttered out also using the nickname he gave me when I was younger. We were super close because when I was younger, he helped me with my classes and we often hung out a lot.
We finished the rest of our meal time listening to Jin's stupid but funny dad jokes. But while everyone had their fun, I was still trickled on the question V left floating about in the air. Alongside that, why Suga gave me a note and why I HAD to read it alone. But that of course, was all in my head and I wasn't actually talking to myself. And there we all were, in the Cafe being as loud as monkeys as I sat there, dozed off in thought and confusion.
