The One

Part 16:

"What are you doing Solbi?" The person spoke. It was indeed Yoongi.

"Oh uhm, I came out here to check up on you and when I realized there was a park across the street, I figured you'd be here. What's up?" I answered.

"Oh, nothing I just needed some fresh air. Taehyung kept yelling at me because we were losing. Great games by the way." He said. Little did I know, he was lying.

"Thanks. Oh, I have some tea to spill." I said. He snapped a look at me.

"Continue." He said.

I began to tell him about the whole thing with Hoseok and about how he asked me out. After I finished, he began to hiccup uncontrollably.

"Ugh Yoongi, are you okay?" I asked him as he stood up and then bent over in case. I rested my hand on his back to ease him a bit.

"Oh yea, I'm fine. I probably just ate too much popcorn and my stomach is just rejecting it." He said back.

"Are you sure?" I asked, trying not to be to annoying but showing that I care. He laughed.

"Yes Solbi, Im okay. Why don't you go back inside and I'll join you all after my stomach dies down okay?" He said standing up.

"Will you be okay out here? If anything you better call me." I said getting up, and getting ready to walk back across the street and back into the building.

"Yes and I will. Now go, and have fun with our friends and your boyfriend. I wish you good luck." He said, trapping me in a hug.

"He's not my boyfriend!" I playfully hit his back before we let go of each other and walking away.

"Not yet!" He yelled.

"Whatever!" I turned and yelled back.

I made my way back to the building and back to my friends. Still worrying for Yoongi but, that worry slowly began to fade. He's always been able to handle things on his own so I'll leave him alone.

No ones POV

After Solbi re-entered the building and Yoongi was left out in the park, on that chilly night, he fell to the ground, knees finally giving up. However, his knees weren't the only thing that gave up that night. He began to cry and couldn't stop.

"Why? Why can't I actually have the happy ever after I want? It's not fair! It's not fucking fair! I love Solbi, but why? Why does she get to have Hoseok? I should have never let them meet! Hoseok was mine first! I kissed him first! I wanted him first!" He slammed his fists into his lap and onto the ground repeatedly, not even caring if he broke anything from how hard he was slamming his wrists into anything. His heart broke into a million pieces. He was happy that they were happy with each other but he was envious. After some time, screams, and yells of pain, he slowly stopped crying so much.

"Please Solbi. Please take care of him for me. Treat him like he's everything. Give him his favorite food, drink, deserts, flowers and most of all, don't hurt him. God please don't hurt him. Treat him when he's sick. And when he's crying, be there for him. Yes Please do all this for me, because I can't. I could never have him look at me the way he's always looked at you. It'll hurt to see you two together now but this is what I asked for right? If I had never let Hoseok's mom let him go to public school, you two would have never met. He would have been all mine. But no, I screwed up. This is all my fault. This is all on me. Just please treat him the way I have and always will treat him." Yoongi talked to himself. Laying down, looking up to the stars, he saw the smoke come out of his mouth from the lights and moon's reflection. Closing his eyes, he remembered all the memories hoseok and him shared. A happy yet painful smile started to show on his face.

"I Love You Jung Hoseok. I Always Have and Always Will."

Not to far away, another pained soul was watching and listening to what was going on to his best friend.

Hoseok was a crying mess as well. He didn't think Min Yoongi, his best friend since he moved to Seoul from Gwanju. The reason Hoseok even ever got to go to public school was because Yoongi convinced his mom to let him go so they could spend more time together. The whole reason he developed feelings for Solbi was to substitute and try to erase his feelings for Yoongi.
