Warning self injuring mentioned in passing
One last night Min Yoongi (aka Suga aka Agust) was up late at night scrolling through twitter when he suddenly came across a post by a fan, on #suga, that shocked him.
The fan was saying about how they suspected Yoongi may have Asperger's syndrome, a developmental disorder related to autism and characterized by awkwardness in social interaction, pedantry in speech, and preoccupation with very narrow interests, and that they hoped if anyone at bighit was to see this post they hope it would be taken into account, and maybe tested for, in order to make Yoongi's life as a star a little easie. Yoongi got curious after reading the post and decided to research more into what it entailed. He then came to the realisation that a lot of the symptoms of the disorder did apply to him, such as awkwardness around strangers borderlining on selective mutism, the tendency to knowledge dump to people close to himself about topics he was extremely interested in (aka special interests), and most importantly the side effects of anxiety and depression at not being normal or able to relate well to other people. He also related to having meltdowns because of sensory overload or pent up stress, he mainly tried to keep theses hidden from everyone as he was scared what they'd think at him in a ball rocking back and forth or constantly scratching his arms leaving small cuts.
Once he had finished his research, Yoongi designed it would probably be for the best if he was to seek professional assistance with this and decided to look for how. Once Yoongi realised it was only diagnosable by a physiatrist he shot an email to their manager to see if this was in anyway possible to do.
After a few hours of work Yoongi reserved an email back saying it was possible and an appointment had been booked for the next week, but that they would need to contact his family for additional information.
Yoongi was over the moon at the news hoping this would finally make his personality make sense.
