"I can't believe you actually chose me!" I said, as Tom and I drove back to his house in Kingston.
"Why's that?" He asked.
"Well, no one has ever liked me, and who wants a teenager these days."
Tom smiled at me, "How could no one like you Darling, your funny, you seem very smart and you are absolutely adorable."
"Thanks, I guess people are scared of me." I said
"Scared? Of you? Come on, your kidding."
"Have you seen what some kids my age do, I dont blame people for not adopting me, Teenagers are crazy."
Tom laughed, "Well, I have a brother that's a teenager, but he isn't scary, in fact he is the opposite."
"Haha really?"
"Yes, he is a completely innocent 16 year old." Tom said.
We chatted for a bit longer until we pulled up to a cute townhome.
"This is a lot different than what I expected, but its cute!"
"What were you expecting?" Tom said getting my things out of the trunk.
"I don't know-"
"A mansion?" Tom asked smiling.
"Well...yes."
Tom locked his car and opened the front door. A dog came running immediately to Tom, then started sniffing me and my belongings.
"This is Tessa, she's harmless don't worry."
"Hello Tessa." I said, gently petting her.
Tom then showed me around then brought me into a room that was practically empty. "So I know this looks awful, but I wanted to leave it bare so you can make it your own I suppose."
"No no its perfect." I looked back at him, "Thank you so much."
"Of course Darling."
