The school's science team had decided to take a science themed trip around Europe. You started at Venice, Italy, and was looking forward to seeing the Leonardo De Vince Museum, but it was closed until November. It all happened out of nowhere. A huge water creature evolved from the ground. All you could wonder was where Peter was.
"Y/n. Come quick" Ned shouted as you were close to a collapsing edge, but with the help of Mj, you managed to get away. At least you were going to Paris tomorrow, and would be able to see the Eiffel Tower. You left your room, and notice Peter and Ned.
"Peter, I'm so glad you're okay" you said to him, embracing him into a hug. He hugged you back. This wasn't uncomfortable for either of you, since you were best friends, from since you could talk.
The next day.
"Guys, change in plans. We're going to Prague" the teacher told the class.
"Ugh great. I wanted to go to Paris" you sigh.
"I'll take you to Paris one day" Peter smiled. You couldn't help but smile back.
"I'll hold you to that Peter Parker" you smiled, following the rest of the group to the bus.
"Can I sit with you?" You ask Peter, who was now wearing some glasses.
"Uh yeah sure" Peter smiled, moving his bag so you could sit.
"Thanks". You were babbling on about the trip, and the whole thing in Venice, but when you looked at Peter, he didn't seem to be interested or even listening to you. "Peter, Are you even listening to me?" you asked.
"No" Peter answered quickly. You looked at him in shock. "Sorry y/n, what was you saying?" Peter asked. You sighed, unclicking your seatbelt.
"Don't worry about it" You sighed, getting up and walking away from Peter.
"Wait, y/n, no" Peter said, but you just ignored him, and sat alone at the back of the bus. Before you knew it, Flash came and sat beside you. He was always flirting with you. Him winding up Peter was just a bonus. The bus stopped at a small village for a quick break, before you were back on the road again. Peter was the last one off the bus. He walked away into a small room not far from the shop you, Mj, Betty, Ned and Flash went into. Once you guys came out, Brad came over to the group of you, showing you all a picture of Peter with his pants down, hooking up with some woman. Everyone looked around awkwardly, as Flash laughed. You leave them and sit on the bus, with your legs up so no one can join you, and leave your earphones in for the rest of the journey. Peter looked in your direction, but you decided to look away. He knew you had heard the rumours about him. Your phone vibrated in your hand, as you looked at your phone quickly.

You didn't know how to reply, so you put your phone in your pocket and looked out the window. It wasn't like you and Peter were dating. Why were you bothered? The rest of the holiday was boring. You didn't really talk to anyone, apart from MJ and Betty, but even then, it was hardly words. Ned kept trying to get you to talk to Peter, but you couldn't. Even when he looked into your eyes, with raw red ones, you just couldn't do it. He was one of your best friends. Peter had to stay with some family members, and had left the school trip. Your heart was aching.
"Okay kids, get on the bus" the teacher told us, as we boarded the red London bus. The city was beautiful. We were headed towards London bridge. We toured the city, watching people walk by. Suddenly, we had to leave the bus, because the bridge was under attack by the same creatures from the trip. You got separated from your class, and you couldn't find anyone. While everyone was running, you found an empty spot to stand and look.
"Miss" a voice said, as Mysterio appeared in front of you. "Take my hand, I'll get you out of here" he said. You took his hand. He was a superhero, wasn't he? You was in a corridor room. You looked out the window and noticed you were above the bridge. No one but you and Mysterio was here.
"Where are we?" You ask. Mysterio laughed.
"You idiot. You're the damsel in distress" he said, keeping you trapped, pointing a gun towards you. The rest of your class had met Happy.
"Happy. Tell Peter, y/n's missing" Ned explained, as Happy radioed to Peter. Peter was terrified. He searched the bridge up and down, swinging to find you. But no luck. Until he saw you through the corridor window, held at gunpoint by Mysterio. He broke straight through the window. You and Mysterio looked over at him.
"Edith. Kill spiderman" Mysterio said, controlling the drones to kill Spiderman. Luckily, Peter dodged them all, getting safely to you. He stood between you and Mysterio, keeping you very close to him. All these illusions were confusing you. But you knew when you felt a push, it was real. Straight out the window, and down. Spiderman jumped down, grabbing you and swinging underneath the broken bridge, and onto grass. SHIELD had Mysterio surrounded. You hugged spiderman tightly.
"Thank you peter" you whispered. Spiderman pulled away, looking at you.
"You knew?" He asked, taking his mask off. No one could see either of you anyway. You nodded. "When?" He asked.
"I've always known Peter. You're my best friend" you answered. He smiled at you, embracing you into another hug, where you both smiled. You went to pull away, but he stopped you. He looked into your eyes, then at your lips, then back to your eyes again. He kissed you, softly. You kissed him back, obviously. He pulled away and looked at you.
"That woman, at the rest stop. She was fitting me a new suit so I wouldn't be recognised. Brad just walked in on me, half naked and assumed" Peter explained.
"You don't need to explain Peter" you smiled. "I overreacted anyway". Peter smiled at you.
"Y/n, I love you" Peter said.
"I love you Peter" you answered, sharing another kiss before he left with SHIELD.
