You and your friend loved when it was that time of the year. Comic Con. You always went full out on costumes, and really made a day of it. This year, your friend was going as Star Lord, and you had decided to go as Captain Marvel. Weird duo, You both knew that, but it didn't stop you both. When you got to the event, you showed your tickets, and got inside quite quickly.
"I'm going to get a snack" Your friend said, pointing at the que.
"Alright, Meet you at the marvel merch?" you asked, as he smiled, and you walked away. You knew where all the best sales were, you came every year. You saw a really good spiderman costume standing at one of the dodgy booths, where the owner always doubled the price. You walked up to him.
"You new here?" You whispered. He just nodded. "This booth is over priced. You wanna head towards the back, where they don't really care what they sell" you explained.
"Really? Thanks. I'm spiderman" he answered.
"Oh were using our made up names. I'm Captain Marvel then" You smiled, and he laughed at the reference. The two of you hung out for ages, that you completely forgot about your friend.
"Hey b/f/n, I totally forgot. Me and Spiderman got talking and I was showing him around" You apologised.
"It's okay, I hung out with groot and Rocket anyway" he explained.
"Do you wanna go get some food?" you asked your friend.
"Obviously" he responded.
"Do you wanna come with us?" you asked, getting to really like this dude.
"Yeah. I just have to find my friend. He's dressed as Deadpool" Spiderman explained.
"Okay" you smiled, as you all headed towards the door.
"So, Spiderman ran away with Star Lord and Captain Marvel?" A dude dressed as Deadpool walked over to us.
"My bad. We're going to get something to eat. Are you coming?" Spiderman asked.
"Yeah sure" Deadpool answered. You all left, and went to this bar, not too far away. There was other cosplayers there too, so you didn't feel weird, or out of place. The four of you sat at the table. Your friend next to you, and spiderman in front of you.
"Ooh, curly fries" Starlord said, ordering his food through the app on his phone. You all laughed, as he ordered everyone elses food. Small talk filled the air, but it wasn't awkward.
"So, Are you two together?" Deadpool asked, as you laughed.
"No, No. We're best friends. I'd be Gamora if we were" You laughed, as Deadpool nudged Spiderman's arm. You could he was winding him up. Finally the food arrived. Your friend took his starlord mask off.
"You guys going to eat?" Your friend asked, as you ate a chip, and looked at them.
"Don't freak out" Deadpool said, as he took his mask off. Your friend look confused, but you just stared at him in slight shock.
"Harrison?" You asked, then looked at Spiderman.
"No way" you gasped. Tom took his mask off. Your friend realised what was happening.
"OH-" but you placed your hand over his mouth, before he could say anything else, and get fans attention.
"They are trying to have a quiet day. Shh" You told your friend, moving your hand.
