Chapter 9: Pups & The Outage!

Third Person POV

The pups were all in the front playing Pup Pup Boogie.

"Yeah! Check out this sweet move!" said Rowdy. He did a paw stand with multiple twists.

"Wow!"

"Amazing!"

"That's so cool Rowdy!"

"Yeah but now I'm dizzy- whoa!" Rowdy crashed into his dad. "Oops..."

Everyone laughed at his clumsiness and his dad helped him up. "Make sure you're careful Rowdy. I don't won't you hurt," said Chase. Rowdy nodded. "Yeah Rowdy's move was "cool" or whatever but check out mine!" said Ginger. She did a move that also involved twists and a back flip. She landed perfectly and everyone cheered.

"Cool!"

"That's was amazing!"

"Best move ever!"

Ginger stood proud while sticking her tongue out at her brother. "Grr. Always trying to out best me. I'm better than you!" He tackled her while they rolled on the ground play fighting and everyone laughed. Winnie shook her heads at her siblings. They're always so competitive but she looked up to them because of that. She wanted to be strong and brave just like her siblings.

Everyone soon went back to playing Pup Pup Boogie while Ryder and Aniyah were talking to each other about random stuff in his room. They were also playing a game of Uno. "Draw 4!" declared Aniyah putting down a draw 4 card. "Nope, you draw 8," said Ryder also putting down a draw 4. (I hate when my friends do this😒)

Aniyah looked at him unimpressed. He laughed while Aniyah complained. "But I was just about to win~"

She was "crying" while reaching out to pull her penalty when Ryder put his hand over the deck. Aniyah looked up at him with a brow raised. "You don't have to pull if you don't want to Chibi, I want you to win," he said sweetly. Aniyah eyes widened a bit and a blush formed on her cheeks, she then looked away. She sighed. She raised a hand then flicked his head. "Owie!" he said.

"I-idiot. You're not s-supposed to let me win," she said softly. She grabbed a fist full of her shirt on her heart trying to calm down her blush and her racing heartbeat. She was gonna deny her feelings for him or at least try to. She's gonna act tough and like she doesn't care. Maybe then they'll go away. Ryder rubbed his head then looked at her now noticing her flustered face. He got flustered as well. Just looking at her flustered made him flustered too.

All of a sudden, the power shut off.

"AAHH!!"

"RYDER! ANIYAH!"

"IT'S DARK!"

"I CAN'T SEE!"

"I'M LEGALLY BLIND!"

"SHUT UP ROWDY!"

"HEY!!!"

Ryder grabbed Aniyah's hand, much to her enjoyment, then went to the front. He pulled out his pup pad and both of them kind of saw the pups running around screaming while Winnie was hiding under a calm Nightlight. Aniyah giggled at the craziness.
