Ryder's POV
I was up and looking at some old pictures of Chase and I with our adoptive mom. I then had a thought.
We haven't seen our mother in a long time. Hmm... we should go and surprise visit her! She'll be able to see all the new pups too!

(A/N: Remember Ryder's mom look like the picture above. She was 25 when she adopted Ryder and now she's 30.)
I smiled and got up to go tell the pups my genius plan. I came into the Lookout part, where I give out missions, and saw the pups trying to teach the puppies how to play Pup Pup Boogie.
"Hiya pups!" I said and that gained everyone's attention. "Hiya Ryder!" they all responded. "I was wondering if any of you puppies wanted to go and meet Chase's and I's adoptive mom and everyone else go visit mom?" I asked.
"Wow! Really?!" asked the Rowdy and Ginger. Winnie just nodded unsure. "Yep!" I said. "Alright!" they all barked. We all got our stuff and left.
We were walking to my mom's house and we finally got there. I knocked twice.
"Coming!!" said mom from the other side. She opened the door but before she could open it all the way, the pups tackled her. "Mommy!! We missed you!" they said. "Huh? Pups?! Hi!" she said petting them. I helped her up and she hugged me. I hugged her back tightly but not too tight burying my face in her shirt. She still smelt like home, not to sound creepy, I just felt comfortable around her. She seemed to have cut her hair some and curled it, got a few tattoos, and her eyes are a lighter color now. Even with the new look, she's still really pretty and is my mom that I love very much.
She giggled at me petting my head. "Hello Ryder, do please come in," she said. We all came in and sat on the couch. "I missed you so much! What brings you here?" asked mom. "Just a surprise visit and wanting to show you Chase girlfriend, their pups and our newest members," I said.
"Hello I'm Nightlight. These are my pups Ginger, Rowdy, and Winnie," said Nightlight. Mom squealed before hugging them all. "You all are so cute! Especially you!" she said petting Winnie carefully noticing she was kind of scared. "Huh?! I'm cuter!" said Rowdy. "No, I am!" said Ginger. They started to play fight and I just shook my head at them.
I then looked at Rubble. "And meet Rubble! We got him 2 weeks after moving into the Lookout," I said. "Hi!" said Rubble. She smiled and pet him. "Hello Rubble," she said.
I'm glad that she now knows all the pups and the pups know her.
"So, anyone hungry?" asked mom. "Me!" said all the pups. She got up and went to go make something as we went to the playroom.
I was sitting on the side watching all the pups when I noticed Winnie was hiding. I walked over to her and got down to look at her. "What's wrong?" I questioned. "I... uh... um... whoa!" she dodged a ball by ducking that Rowdy threw. "Sorry!" he said coming past us. "It's okay Rowdy, now Winnie, you were saying..." I said. "I'm just a little nervous you know. This is our first time being here," she said. I reached out to pet her. She jumped at first but calmed down.
"It's okay," I said soothingly. She looked up at me and smiled then jumped in my lap. "Ryder! Winnie! We're about to go check out the rooms," said Marshall. He ran out the room. "Careful Marshall, you'll fall!" I said. I held Winnie in my arms and we all left to my room and I opened it.
"Wow," said Chase looking around. "Still looks the same way we left it," I said. I put Winnie down on the bed then sat on it. "Seems like mom didn't touch the room," said Zuma. "You can tell by how... achoo!... dusty it is," said Rocky coming from under the bed. Why? I don't know.
"So this is where you all slept at?" asked Star looking around. "Not really, we all had got separated to the other room also," said Skye. "Rocky, Ryder and I slept in this room," said Chase. He got on his bed and so did Ginger and Rowdy. "So comfy!" said Ginger. "Bouncy too!" said Rowdy bouncing on the bed.
"Let's go check out the other rooms now!" said Skye. We went to each room checking them out and looking at old memories when mom had called us.
"COME EAT YOU GUYS!!" she said. Everyone went downstairs and we all ate and conversed.
It was a little later but still daylight and we decided to leave.
"Bye mom!! Love you!" I said. "Bye!" said the pups. "Bye Ryder! Bye Pups! Love you too and make sure to visit!" she said. We were gone.
"So now what Ryder?" asked Rubble. "Hmm... let's just walk around," I said. The pups agreed and we did just that. I then decided to show the pups Aniyah's and I's tree house.
We were walking to it when Chase stopped. "Chase? What's wrong?" I asked. He sniffed the air. "I smell her," he said. "Who?" asked Star.
Chase dashed off.
"Dad!" said the puppies. They followed him and we all did too. Turns out he just ran up to the tree faster then us.
"What was the rush Chase? I get your excitement but- A-Aniyah?" I stuttered at the end.
That's right. My best friend, Aniyah Campbell was standing in front of us petting Chase.
She looked up and smiled a bit nervously.
"Long time no see Ryder," she said.
