The Unknown Monster

Chapter 2~ The Escape

I was about to open the ballroom doors, until I was roughly pushed into a dark room.

I punch the person and get loose from their grip, and I look at them only to see one of my maids! She looks at me and groans.

I ask worriedly, "OH MY GOSH! ARE YOU OKAY!?"

She nods and says, "Yes darling, but you need to leave the kingdom now. General Coop is planning to murder you!"

I look at her and say, "Where do I go?!"

She says, "Far away from here, my dear... NOW RUN!"

I ran out of the room and I keep running, until I'm out of the palace walls. Luckily, I'm wearing commoners clothes right now or else I would've been caught as soon as I was seen. I kept walking, until I left Heriam.

I knew where all the lands were, and so I knew where I was going. I'm heading to Devilopolis, where all the demons lived. I started to run so I could have a head start to my escape.

I kept running and running through the forest, until I finally saw the gates to Devilopolis. My greatest ancestor was the king here and I'm wondering how it looks on the inside.

I quickly walk up to the gates and say, "Lucifer" my great ancestors name to get inside. The doors opened, and I went inside the town.

The excitement I once had left my body and only fear was left as soon as I got into the kingdom. Everyone was staring at me!

Did I mention that demons attack anyone who was weaker than them, and since I look like a mortal they may want to attack me!

I just started running to the other side, so I can try to get out of Devilopolis as fast as I can; but it would take 2 hours just to get halfway through the kingdom! I just keep running to get to the other side since that's the only thing I can do.

4 hours later

I finally went to the other side of town, but I was stopped by a demon. He looked like a playboy, but he would care for you if you got to know him. The demon was floating in the air observing my features.

I back up a bit ready to run away, but before I could he says, "How did you get in here mortal?"

I looked at him and said, "I am the descendant of a demon. His name was Lucifer!"

He looked suprised for a second, until he said "The great Lucifer? Yeah I don't think so."

He started to walk up to me, but I didn't care. I just looked at him. He was practically against my body now.

I didnt notice that he took my bracelet off my wrist, and held it up and says, "You're a theif! YOU stole this from the royal palace of Heriam!"

I close my eyes and say, "Please give it back! That bracelet keeps me safe and was a gift from my family! They spent hundreds of dollars for it!"

He chuckles and says, "Alright fine, but you have to fight me and if you win then you get the bracelet back, but if I win you have to be my slave...Deal?"

I quickly nodded my head, and while doing so I went into my bag to get out the Angel blood. Angel blood will hurt any demon if their skin comes into contact with it.

He says out of nowhere, "One... two... three... GO!

I quickly threw the blood on him. I could hear him crying and screaming in pain. I almost felt sorry, but I rememberd my main focus was to get my bracelet. I run towards him and get my bracelet.

I look at him and say, "Looks like I won!"

I bolted towards the gates as soon as I got my bracelet. I wanted to get out of Devilopolis, so as soon as the gates opened I started running. I kept running, until I saw the sun go down. I saw a old oak tree not too far away ahead of me, so I started running to it. Once I got to the tree, I climbed it so if the guards came close to me they wouldn't find me. I found a comfortable spot and started to close my eyes, but I couldn't go to sleep. I felt like someone was watching me, so I opened my eyes to see the demon who I saw earlier!

He smirked at me and said, "Angel blood... Job well done, but that only paralyzed me for 5 minutes."

I look at him and scoff, " The only reason why I used it is because I'm vulnerable. Once you take the bracelet away... I'm pretty much dead meat."

He looks at me and says "Ok fine I'll let you keep it as long as I get to come along with you in your adventure!" He looked like a cute excited puppy.

I sighed and say, "Okay, but are you going to tell me your name or am I going to have to call you devil stalker!"

He laughed and said, "Shawn is my name.....but you can call me Daddy~"

I scoff and say, "My name is Alex, but enough of the chit chat. We need to go to sleep." He nodded and closed his eyes, and so did I.
