Luan's Fear (Alternative Version of Lori's Redemption) (ON HIATUS)

Chapter Seven

As Luan tried to fight off Bobby...Lori fell into the water and started to swim towards her sister. Only to come upon a sight that crushed her heart. Her sister, Luan was desperately trying to swim towards the surface...however two hands were wrapped around her ankles denying her the chance to breath. The hands belonged to Bobby...her boyfriend who she loved with all of her heart. 

Before Lori could ponder this more...she knew that she had to save her sister from him. So Lori quickly swam towards the duo and punched her boyfriend on his nose. The blow stunned Bobby long enough for Lori to grab Luan and bring her to safety. As she did so...she felt someone grab onto her left leg which made her look down and see the pissed off expression of her boyfriend. So she kicked him on his right eye with her right foot and safely swam towards the surface and started to head towards land. When she finally reached it...she carefully placed Luan on the sand and started to climb out of the water.

"Cough...Cough...Luan!!" Lori said after she coughed. Lori slowly started to crawl towards Luan and placed her head on her chest. 

"Come on Luan. Breath for me." Lori cried as she started to deliver CPR on her sister. 

"One..Two..Three...Luan don't you die on me!!" Lori said before she felt a pulse. It was weak, but at least she got Luan breathing. As she sighed...she looked out at the water and thought of her boyfriend... well ex boyfriend if she had anything to say about it. As she looked out...she saw Bobby crawl out of the water a couple of miles away from her and Luan which gave her plenty of time to drag Luan higher up land. 

After she did that...Lori picked up a huge branch and went down to where Bobby was. As she looked at him...she thought back to those days where they were clearly in love...but she quickly got rid of that thought immediately. Anyone who would try to kill Lori's siblings was undeserving of her love. 

"B..Babe...Help me." Bobby said.

"Are you fucking kidding me Bobby? After you tried to kill my sister...there is no way in hell that I'm going to help you." Lori said. After she said that...Bobby started to laugh. A laugh that was so sinister and evil that it made Lori's blood run cold.

"HAHA...I see that my charm finally failed me. You see...I never wanted to kill your sister...I wanted to kill you." Bobby said.

"Why?" Lori asked. 

"Because....I wanted the money from the life insurance policy that I collected on you. But that wasn't the only motive...I wanted you to disappear so I can finally choose a girl that doesn't smother me and boss me around like you do." Bobby said.

"I can't believe that I was devoted to you. All that time that I could've spent with my family is gone because of you. I wasted all of it..with those phone calls, texts, dates and emails all on a person like you." Lori said. 

"Cry me a river bitch. I only tolerated you since you were one of the most popular girls in school. And now...It's time for you to die." Bobby said before he took out a pocket knife and tried to cut Lori. Lori managed to dodge in time and swung the branch against Bobby who could only stare at her wide eyed before he was hit in the head. As he began to lose consciousness, he noticed the disgusted look on Lori's face which broke his heart for some unknown reason. 

As Lori stared at Bobby...She felt disgusted at herself. She wasted so much time with her family over someone like him. Why? Why couldn't she see what he was really like before he tried to ruin  her life. Before she could continue berating herself..she heard sirens in the distance. As she watched..she saw an ambulance and a police car come down near her. 

"What happened here?" The police officer said.

"My ex boyfriend tried to kill me and my sister over money. He even tried to stab me a couple of seconds before you showed up." Lori said.

"Sigh...Get him into the car Lou." The second Officer said as he looked at Lori.

"Aren't you going to arrest me?" Lori asked.

"No...you're off the hook. But don't think that you can get away with it again young lady." The Officer said before he went back to his partner. Meanwhile Lori went to the ambulance and sat down as they carter Luan in.

As they drove away, Lori felt regret course in her veins and made a vow towards her sister.

As long as I live and breath...I won't let another boy rule my life again. 

Just wake up Luan. Please....
