Little Pick Ups (rewrite)

(Leif x Pierce) 

The apartment appeared to be empty except for two of the demons who were left with a small list of chores to do well the others were out grocery shopping. The chores given were not difficult ones just ones like putting away dishes or wiping down tables and countertops. The demons weren't exactly happy about doing chores and still aren't but Ava has her ways of getting them to do the chores anyway. Each demon is given a list every month of the chores they most do Noi, Rhys, and Asch had gotten the chore of grocery shopping with Ava this month which meant that Pierce and Leif were left home alone to finish up their chores.

Leif was just finishing up his chore of putting away the dishes Pierce, on the other hand, had finished up his chores for the day which left him with nothing to do besides play with Ava's spirit as the demons like to call the cat (I forgot the cat's name if you know it please tell me in the comments thank you). The only thing left to put away was a green-colored mug that belongs on the top shelf of the cabinets that held the drinking glasses. Leif was a little confused about how Ava manages to put things up on the top shelf when she is shorter than both him and Noi who happened to be the two shortest out of the demons.

He is going to need Pierces help or he can use a chair but then he might get yelled at if he brakes the chair or anything else so Pierce seemed to be his only option for putting the mug away.
"Hey Pierce can you help me!?" Leif asked from the kitchen.
"Yeah sure what is it?" Pierce asked as he headed to the kitchen.
"I need you to carry me so I can put this mug away on the top shelf." Leif answered as Pierce approached him.
"Ok." Pierce said as he wrapped his arms around Leif's waist and lifted him up without warning scaring Leif a little bit.

Leif set the mug down on the shelf after the shock had passed by of being lifted without warning.
"Thank you you can put me down now Pierce." Leif told Pierce.
"No thank you I think I am good with you in my arms like this." Pierce answered which caused another wave of shock to wash over Leif as he tried to get himself free from Pierce's grip around his waist and set his feet on the ground again but no matter what he did Pierce seemed to not want to let go.
"Pierce this isn't far let me go." Leif complained.
"No." was all Pierce answered as he routed Leif so now his back isn't what's against his chest anymore but rather his chest was now what was pressed against his chest. The sudden movement that Leif wasn't in control of had scared Leif a little bit causing him to wrap his arms around Pierce's neck and his legs to wrap around his waist.
"Claim down I am not going to drop you you're fine." Pierce reinsured.
"I know you just scared me when you moved me like that sorry," Leif answered.
"You done putting everything away?" Pierce asked with a smirk.
"Yeah the mug was the last thing." Leif answered a little confused on why Pierce asked.
"You want to cuddle on the couch and watch a movie?" Pierce asked.
"Yeah sure why not." Leif answered with a little smile as Pierce set him down so both of them can head to the living room.
