Tears and Hugs

A small trail of blood was the only thing that he could see leading down a dark and dingy hall. The trail then seemed to stop at a rather large metal door. Pierce placed one hand on his sword and the other on the doorknob, slowly pushing the door tell it was open all the way. There was more blood in the room then there had been out in the hall, actually a rather larger amount. It was to the point that it nearly covered the floor and the farther back wall. There seemed to have been five lifeless bodies lying in the middle of the bloody mess.

Making cautious steps into the room, he made his way to the lifeless bodies to see who they might be. When he saw who they where his heart fell to the bottom of his stomach. There lying on the floor where Ava, Rhys, Asch, Leif, and Noi all died with there blood covering the room, the hall, and his legs. Piece dropped to his knees as he grabbed Rhys's lifeless body and laid the boy's head on his lap.

Pierce jolted up, it had only been a dream but it felt so real it had hurt so much. Hunched over breathing heavily with a cold sweat running threw him, he couldn't help but let the tears fall. There was movement next to him tell someone had grabbed his hand making him flinch a little bit. Looking over to where the other side of the bed where Rhys had been asleep, only to find that he had woken the man. Rhys had a worried look plastered on his face as he looked up at Pierce.

"Are you ok love?" Are the words that had left the man's mouth laced with both sleep and concern.
"I-I.." the words wouldn't leave his mouth the only thing that really could were his sobs as he sat there crying. The only clear response he had given was a nod of his head from left to right signaling the other man that he wasn't okay. Rhys propped himself up against the headboard as he rubbed small circles on Pierces back. "Do you want to talk about it love?" he had voiced as he kept rubbing his back to try and calm him down. Pierce nodded his head again not really trusting his voice with the words this time. "Okay then come here." moving his hand to Pierce's arm instead to move him against his chest. Pierce laid with his face buried into Rhys's chest as let out small sobs, one of Rhys's arm wrapped around his back and the other playing with his hair intel his sob calmed down more.

Both men moved to lay on the bed instead of sitting against the headboard. Keeping his arms wrapped around his back and playing with his hair tell they fell back asleep this time with no nightmares.
