Chapter 14

Chapter 14 –

Swara’s parents had tears in their eyes. They were seeing some pictures. The camera revolves and showed the pictures. The pictures were of our swasan of that night. (I hope everyone remembers)

Shekhar – (shaking voice) “How can Swara do this with us? She doesn’t thought for a second of our respect. She was our pride or usne hamara sar jhuka diya. Swara I didn’t expected this from you.” He cried with anger in his eyes.

Shomi – “I can’t believe this. Swara!. Our Swara who used to be our pride.. she did this. She betrayed us.”

Shekhar – “Call her.” With anger
Shomi left to call her.

Other side on the same time
Ram and Sujata had the same pics in their hands. They were also crying.

Ram – “Sujata , what is this? Our Sanskar and that too with Swara.”

Sujju – “Ram ji, I can’t even imagine this. There must be some misunderstanding.”

Ram – “sujata, it is clearly shown in the pics. Swara bechari ka kya hoga? ”

Sujju – “Ram ji, I have an idea. We should get them married with Laksh and Ragini.”

Ram – “You are right. Call Sanskar.”
She left to call him with tear in her eyes.

Next scene –
Swara entered the room with her mother.

Swa – “Papa, Maa kya hua hai?”

Shekhar – “You are asking like you don’t know.”

Swa – “Papa what are you saying. I m not understanding.”
He showed her the pics and the world slipped from beneath her feet. She felt dizzy, she went numb and the tears started flowing from her eyes.

Shekhar –(full angry) “What is this Swara haan?” she kept silent.

Shomi – “What is this Swara?” she shouted.

Swara – “Papa, Maa I don’t know anything. I went to the party with Sanskar and we both got drunk. I don’t know how? Maybe someone spiked our drink. Then we end up……” her throat choked up. She held his hand.

Swa – “Papa I m sorry. I m ashamed of myself. Ghin aarahi hai mujhe khud pe. Maine ne apka sir jhuka diya papa but believe me papa I didn’t do it intentionally..” he jerked her hand.

Shekhar – “Don’t call me Papa. I m no one to you and you are no one to me. Meri aj se sirf ek beti hai.”

Swara couldn’t believe her ears. Her father disowned her. She felt the world around her stopped moving. She was numb.
She went towards Shomi and holds her hand.

Swa – “Maa dekho papa ko kaisi baatein ker rahe hain. Maa tell him I didn’t do anything.”
Shomi also jerked her hand.

Shomi – “Don’t call me Maa.”
She was shattered. Her mother also was not with her. She felt like stabbing herself. She fell down on the floor all numb.

Sujata, Ram and Sanskar entered the room. They listened everything.

Sanskar’s Pov –
Ohh God her father and mother both disowned her. She is really unlucky. Me ne kuch galat kiya kya? No Sanskar Maheswari never did anything wrong.
End of pov

Ram – “Shekhar I came here to talk about something very important.”
Swara listened to him and turned around to find Sanskar standing with his parents. She quickly got up and went to Sanskar and holds his shoulders.

Swara – (crying badly) “Sanskar, tell them tell Maa and Papa it wasn’t our mistake. We were drunk. Sanskar say something tell them God damn it.” She shouted.

San – “Swara calm down.. uncle aunty… that wasn’t Swara’s mistake nor mine. We were drunk and wasn’t in our senses.”

Ram – “Sanskar keep quiet. Let me speak.”

Sujju – “Shomi ji hum chahte hain k Sanskar or Swara ki shaadi hojaye.”
Swara and Sanskar looked at each other completely shocked then looked at their parents.

Shekhar – “Hum bhi yehi chahte hain.”

Swara – “Nhi papa nhi maa. Me Sanskar se shaadi nhi kar sakti..”

Sanskar – “Exactly me bhi swara se shaadi nhi kar sakta..”

Ram – “Will you just shut up Sanskar. Your marriage with Swara will surely happen.”

Shomi – “Bilkul and its our final decision.”
They said and left the room.

Swara – “Maa listen to me Maa..” she tried to talk to her but she left. swara fell down on her knees crying vigorously. Sanskar looked at her with some unknown pain.
