Chapter five | best friend

Caleb's pov

Later that day

Me and sadie are cleaning up my house because of the mess all of these people on my party yesterday had caused.
And my parents are coming back i four days.

"How can one boy be so annoying?" Sadie asked with anger while picking up empty beer cans from the kitchen floor.

"Who do you mean?" I asked while doing the same thing

"Finn!" She got louder and angrier

"What did he do?" I asked anxiously as i stopped picking up the cans

"He's such a fuckboy! Can't he just stop bothering every girl who's in view?!" She yelled

"Okay, sadie. Settle down." "No! I can't! He's ruining everything!" Wait. "Woah.. do you mean he did something to you? Because if he did I'm gonna ki-" i started freaking out but got interrupted "Now you have to settle down. No, he didn't harassed me or something! But Millie! He's flirting with her all the time!"

"Wait, what do you mean?"

"Didn't you noticed?"

"What?"

"At first, at the party. He was literally drooling over her"

*Flashback*

"Ouch! Dude, What's wrong?" Finn asked Me

"What's wrong?! Seriously? You know exactly what's wrong!" I yelled at him

"No, i don't." He said and smirked at me

"Finn.. Millie seems really nice. Please don't use her like every other girl." I said as i slowly calmed down

"What? I won't! I mean she's hot and all-" He stared at her as he started to talk but got interrupted by me then "Finn, you're literally drooling over her." I said with a pathetic grin on my face

"Shut up, i don't!"
You could tell he's lying

"Just don't hurt her feelings, okay? Six weeks! You can control yourself for six weeks, can't you? At least do it for me."

"Ugh- fine! I'll try my best!" He told me "Thanks bro" I said and walked back to talk to the others.

*Flashback ends*

"And then today, when we were walking to benny's" Sadie mentioned

*Flashback*

"Finn, What did you say to her?" I asked Finn anxiously

"Nothing? What do you mean?"
If he did something, he would be dead.

"She literally said that you're a Monster. Why would she say that without any reasons?"

"I don't know?" He said but it sounded more like a question.

"Finn-"

"I said i don't know!" His voice got louder because he got a little bit nervous.

*Flashback ends*

I'm kinda disappointed in finn because he didn't even tried to hold himself back, but I'm more disappointed in myself that i didn't noticed what he's trying to do.

I know it sounds weird because i don't even know Millie, but something's telling me that she doesn't deserve that. to be used by the legendary Finn Wolfhard.

I mean.. don't get me wrong. Nobody deserves to be heartbroken. But i feel like Millie is special.

And again.. don't get me wrong. I don't like Millie that way! I love Sadie! But Millie is Just a good girl and i feel like her big brother or something.

I know it's weird, but i don't want anyone to hurt her.
Even Finn.
And he is my Best Friend.

"What did he say to her?" I asked

"Ugh. Millie caught Iris and Finn making out at the party yesterday, then Finn drove her home, and today when we were walking to benny's he told her that she's just jealous because she wasn't in iris position. And that's so childish of him! I just want a friend who's a girl after he chased every other girl away from me and now he's doing it again!" She explained

"I'm going to kill him"
