one week later

the past week was very eventful for the 8 kids. not only finn and millie confessed their feelings for each other, jack and noah also did.

"i know that you like him. and you know it too! he obviously feels the same!" millie stated

"but what if he doesn't! you don't know that! oh my god- I'm gonna faint." noah whines and sits down on the couch

"yeah- but if you're not gonna take the risk then you'll never find out. and that's worse than being rejected." she tries to explain.

"you're probably right..." he says, grabs his jacket and left the house.

yeah so the week was good for them but meanwhile sadie and caleb got into a huge fight about some dumb stuff. they broke up. nothing new tho. they got back together yesterday.

whatever. shit happens. let's go back to the present.

"why were you guys fighting again?" millie asks sadie curiously.

"he was jealous." sadie shrugged.

millie frowned "why was he jealous?"

"it's nothing." she mumbles.

"sadie? what is it?" millie askes worried, while sadie looks at the ice cream in her hand.

"ugh- i was on a party and my ex boyfriend was there too! but i didn't know. and when i found out i immediately left." she looked at millie as she finishes her ice cream.

it wasn't actually her ice cream. it was caleb's- he told her to hold it for him because he had to pay it. but he was talking to the boy who works at the ice cream shop but sadie was hungry and caleb was taking to long sooo...

millie nodded slowly "that's it?"

s."what do you mean?"

"i mean- why would he be jealous because you were at the same place as your ex boyfriend? doesn't sound like caleb."  millie says, trying to understand the situation.

s."yeah but someone told him that i was making out with him. but it was someone else."

m. "oh."

"yeah. but i really love caleb. i would never hurt him. never." sadie says. she looks sad.

"i know. he loves you too. you guys just have to have more trust in each other." millie comforts her.

s. "i know. and what about you and finn? do you trust him? even with his reputation?"

m. "yes, yes i do. he wouldn't hurt me."

s."how do you know?"

m. "i just know."

"do you love him?" sadie asks. that's when millies phone starts ringing.

she accepts the call "hey mum."

"hey honey. i need you to come home. your father and i need to talk to you."

millie frowns "about what?"

"just come home." her mom says and hangs up.

millie got worried "i need to go home."

"why?" sadie asks

m."i don't know. talk to you later."

s."bye!"

i'm sorry for not updating for so long but i really had zero motivation to do anything.

this was kinda rushed and it's v short and i'm sorry for that.

the story will end soon- i'm thinking abt making a 2nd book but i'm pretty sure it's not gonna happen.

( also i'm very busy writing a script for a movie andddd school starts tomorrow. )
