(Time skip about 8 years)

Aiko was thirteen now, and ready to start middle school. She had pondered over the demon inside and came to the conclusion that the safest thing to assume it that it was just like her father's. The blood of her destined best friend would allow her to change back to human at will. The blood of her destined partner, or soulmate of a sort, would make her completely in control of her demon. She had only lost control of her emotions and became her demon once after the Kuroryu, when she was attacked in an alleyway by a person who used blue flames (A/N: Yes. It's him. 'Nuff said). She hadn't seen his face but she knew that she hadn't killed him. She had maintained her emotion rule so that the demon wouldn't accidentally activate. She was always wary of Kurogiri and Kuro Hana who she knew had escaped her.

She had made arrangements to attend the nearest middle school, Mustafu Middle. By arrangements, she meant that she had paid extra so that she wasn't asked personal questions and permission to not wear the school uniform if she didn't want to. She knew that she was starting in the middle of the last year of middle school, but she didn't care. This way she could at least attend school before taking the entrance exam for her dream high school, UA. All of the best heroes had graduated from there, like All Might and Eraserhead. She liked Eraserhead because of the fact that his quirk didn't help his fighting skills very much, but he was still a very successful hero because of hard work and common sense.

Aiko started middle school today. Nerves weren't allowed because the negative emotion could cause the demon to take over. And dear God and  Lord Cheesus Crust forbid that her demon attacks the school on her very first day. She remembered not liking school very much in America. She had attended preschool and kindergarten there, and they never really DID anything. It was always stuff like the name game and the ABCs. Now she would actually learn new things. She shouldered her plain black backpack and waved goodbye to Mamiko. She and Touya met at the park once a week since that day a few years ago and talked about pretty much anything. He had told her that the other kids would either be judgmental, or they would stick around you and get in the way. She planned to make them just leave her alone. She knew that the new black hoodie over her uniform, combat boots (A/N: She bought new ones so they fit her, she grew out of the old ones), and black face mask would draw eyes. As she passed through the school gate, she noticed the stares. That was okay. They could stare all they wanted. They could hate her too, for all she cared. By the end of the day, she hoped to leave an impression that would make them so afraid of her, they would leave her alone for good.

She walked into the classroom and looked at her classmates as the teacher introduced her to the class. She didn't really hear what the teacher said about her, as she was inspecting her classmates. There was a girl with pink hair, pink skin, yellow and black eyes, and horns. There were many unique-looking kids in her class, but one boy in particular caught her attention. He was quite plain-looking, with shoulder-length black hair and a look of interest in the new student. The only things that were remotely interesting about his appearance were his bright red eyes and small scar over one of them. There was something about him that she had only similarly felt with Touya. There was a connection somehow. Her eyes widened slightly when she realized: this kid was the one destined to be her greatest friend. This kid could help her control the monster living inside her! She let slip a small smile under the mask, but dropped it. Now she had to scare everyone but him. This would be more difficult than she had originally thought. She'd figure it out, though. So after a few hours of class, when the teacher left the classroom to get lunch, she stood up and pulled her mask down to her chin.

"Hello everyone," she started simply, "I didn't really get to introduce myself earlier and I can tell that some of you want to know a bit about myself. However, I want to be left alone. So, I'll tell you something about myself that will make sure you do, seeing as you probably don't want to fraternize with a demon. When I was four, my mother was killed by a villain. This is when I discovered my liquid control quirk. The villain told me that he would come back for me in a year when I got tougher. So I was left alone and trained myself to be the best I could possibly be. I stayed emotionless the whole time, never even crying for my mother because it would get in the way. I molded myself into a heartless person, the one who would end the one who ended my mother."

At these words the class visibly stiffened. Some of the girls were actually shaking in fear. Aiko was satisfied with the results so far.

"When that year passed, I was taken away to the villain's base where I was told that I had to join them. I transformed into a demon and killed the man, as well as his partner. The female will also die when I find her. I feel no remorse for her death. Any negative emotion I feel will cause me to transform and kill everyone around me. Any questions?"

The room was silent, it's occupants trembling in fear. Aiko sat down and pulled up her mask just as the teacher walked into the classroom. Everyone got up quietly, got their food, and sat back down. Aiko felt a flash of pride before she could suppress it. She had managed to scare the once-rowdy class into behaving, and into leaving her alone. She turned her attention back to the boy and tried to plan out making friends.
