Chapter 37

Blades pov

It was like an automatic pulse just flicked off and I was switched into hulk mode.

Suddenly, it all fit together like puzzle pieces.

He's the cause.

He's the cause for all of this.

He's the one that almost killed my mate.

He's the reason why I was so weak that I slipped into a coma.

I saw them walk in through the transparent doors, entering the waiting room where I was standing.

"blade?" Asked Jared," what are you doing here, you gotta get back to your room."

My movements were so fast, it must have been like light to a human.

Within a matter of seconds, I had Jace by the throat against a wall that was five meters away.

"What are you doing!" I heard Jared, who was now five meters away.

I slammed jace into the wall a second time, causing the wall to collapse on itself and trickle to the ground.

His eyes were wide open and his jaw was gaping, unable to pronounce any words to communicate.

My fist connected with his lower jaw, and I heard a loud cracking sound indicating that I was breaking bones.

But I wasn't going for a couple of sever injuries or even coma.

I was going for death.

I felt Jared's hands on my shoulders, pushing me away but with a simple swipe of hand he was flying across the room.

I growled out loud begging my wolf to find me but I wasn't fully healed, even my anger couldn't make up for that.

I felt myself vibrating with anger as I threw jace to the ground, not giving him a chance to speak before placing my foot on his broken jaw.

He screamed out loud as I removed my foot. He turned his head to the side and spat out blood.

I looked around for the first time and noticed about five nurses surrounding me.

I looked at Jace who was begging me to stop with his eyes.

But I couldn't.

Just thinking about what he has done to Emerald...

It had me loathing all over again.

I stepped on his knee while it was at a painful angle causing him to scream out loud again.

I felt nurses coming towards me but I was full gone now, full on alpha werewolf even though I was still in my human form.

I felt his knee breaking before letting out a sick breaking sound and turning a bright purple immediately. 

I bent down and grabbed his head. A tear escaped the corner of his eye and landed on my foot.

I looked up and saw that Emerald was there, being held back by Jared.

"Stop," she mouthed to me, her tears traveling down her neck," now."

I looked down at Jace and met his red eyes for a couple of seconds.

"please," he mouthed," please."

I grabbed a fistful of his hair and slammed his head into the ground as hard as I can muster.

The floor below his head shattered and his eye lids  dropped.

Blood travelled in little lines, soaking my shoes.
