Yes, yes, I haven't updated in a bit. I AM working on the next chapter, so don't be afraid of that.
This is more important than one chapter.
This is about Stephen and his relationship with DanPlan.
A few moments ago, I watched Stephen's most recent upload titled "Actually, I Quit DanPlan." It is on his channel Actually Stephen, so PLEASE go and watch it. That video will make many impacts on how this story turns out.
If you choose not to watch the video, I will provide a quick synopsis (and please don't hate Daniel for this):
Stephen, nine months ago, argued with Daniel about how much he was being paid. In it, he mentions that his pay was only 1% of the total income DanPlan was making. He dragged Hosuh into the conversation and for that, he was sorry. The thought about him leaving has been on his mind for the nine months. So Stephen asked Dan what he had to do to earn more. Daniel replied with, "Nothing. You're just an employee. You have no share." Afterwards, Stephen chose to try to prove his worth to Dan and how much he contributed to the channel. He did so by doing different personalities. Those did nothing. He's wanted to leave, but he stayed for Hosuh because of how much he was trying to fix the situation. And so he chose to quit the channel.
So with that being said:
From this point on, what Stephen spoke of in his video WILL be used as valuable information that will impact the story's direction. That information will be taking affect after Chapter Nine.
It hurts hearing those things that forced Stephen to choose to leave. Trust me when I say this video was a shock to the heart, but there is complete understanding as to why that had to be done. Sadly, Stephen and Daniel are not friends anymore, but what's done is done.
I hope you enjoy the book, even with the major plot twist that a lot of people weren't expecting. The relationships between these three people will change accordingly from when the first argument started to
