Edward's Violette

Conforting Edward & Hale Discovery

Violette sat at the spot with Bella of where the accident happened. Violette looked across the lot to see Edward. "I'll talk to you later." Bella nodded and watched as her friend walked over to Edward. Bella saw Noah walking across the school yard and decided to go through her plan.

"Edward." She called out as she got close to him. "We need to talk."

"You know." He stayed. Violette nodded and he took a deep breath in and opened the passenger door for her. "Thank you." Edward nodded and climbed in as she asked him questions. Other students saw them, but wished they knew what they were talking about.

"I'm your mate." She asked. Edward nodded as she smiled at him as they walked to the Cullen table.

"Your also my blood singer." Edward said as the two sat down.

"Well I'm glad you explained everything to me." Violette said than noticed Edward thinking. "Is there something else you need to tell me?" Edward looked at the blonde in front of him and sighed knowing she needs to know.

"Rosalie thinks you are somehow related to her." Edward revealed. Violette looked at him shock and knew that she must find out why Rosalie would think that.

"Can you help me go through my great grandmother's things so we can figure it out." She asked. Edward nodded and the two continued their talk about anything and promised to take her somewhere's so he can explain more about how he was turned.

The next day Edward took his mate to s field that he had found while hunting. He explained of how he was dying from the Spanish flu. His parents where already gone. Edward explained how his mother begged Carlisle to save him. "Carlisle still wonders how she knew he was different."

"Probably the eyes." Violette suggested. Edward smiled as he continued the story. Violette felt bad for how he was on the verge of death. "I'm glad your here Edward.

"I am too. If I wasn't, I would never got to meet you." Edward said as he squeezed her hand.

"Mom, do you know were granny Hale's things are?" Violette called from the leaving room. Boxes where scattered everywhere as Violette tried searching for what she was looking for.

"Honey, you have it all, but if your looking for her photo album..." Lily trailed off as she went to retrieve the photo album. "Here it is." She gave Violette the album.

"Thank you." She replied as her mother went back to cleaning. Violette started looking through the album when a knock on the door was heard. "I got it mom!" Violette walked over and answered it just to see a face she loves. "Edward, come in."

"So what have you found so far." Edward asked. Violette showed him the photo album and sat with her without a word and started looking through the pages with her. After about 20 pages, they get the answer they wanted. A picture of a woman who looks just like Violette with Rosalie. The next page shows a clip of a missing person. Rosalie Lillian Hale.

"Oh my god." Violette said as she looked into Edward's eyes with tears. "Rosalie was the great aunt that granny talked about." Edward couldn't believe what he was seeing. Rosalie is his mate's great aunt. Rosalie actually has family.

"This is great news. We can tell Rosalie what we just found out tomorrow since Esme is dying to meet you." Edward said. Violette smiled.

"Of course. I've been wanting to meet her too." Violette said as the two continued to search through everything. Lily smiled at the couple and knew that her daughter will be safe with Edward. Lily snuck away and walked into her bedroom and saw a picture of her husband. They loved each other dearly. When he got sick, she told him to do what the doctors thought was right as she stayed behind and tried to find a better job to pay the hospital bills and for traveling. Violette was sent with him as he need someone to be there. Lily cried as she grabbed the picture.

"I miss you my love." Lily said as she laid the picture back down and walked to her closet to pull out Violet's wedding dress and wrote a note on it. Lily knew that her time is almost up.
