Edward's Violette

The Invite

The next day, Violette and Edward was cleaning her car listening to music. Edward looked up to see his mate humming to the song and smiled. Violette was truly something else. "What are you doing?" He asked. Violette looked at him and smiled.

"Humming." She said making him laugh.

"Not that." Edward said as he noticed she was dancing to the song. "You were dancing."

"Oh!" Violette blushed. "Umm.... I like to dance sometimes and I guess I didn't know that I was this time." Edward smiled as he wrapped his arms around her.

"How about you come over tomorrow to meet my family?" He asked. Violette turned and hugged him.

"Of course I will." She responded making Edward smile.

"I'm glad your not worried about being in a house full of vampires." He replied chuckling. Violette did the same and wrapped her arms around his neck.

"I can't possibly worry since one is my family." Violette pointed out. Edward smiled at that till Noah came over.

"The Blacks are at Bella's house and their coming over here to get Violette." Noah tells the two. Edward growled at the thought of the shapeshifters coming around His Violette.

"Edward, it's fine. You should know I only love you and you only." Violette stated. Edward smiled at the confession.

"I'll see you tomorrow." Edward said kissing her head. "I love you, my Violette." She smiled as he climbed into his car and drove off with Noah behind him. Violette turned to see Bella and Jacob who looked uncomfortable.

"Hey." Violette called out as she walked to the two. Jacob has a crush on Violette but is I love with Bella. He also knows that Embry has feelings for Bella also. Jacob zones back into the conversation till it was time for them to go back to Bella's. "I'll see you guys later.

The next day, Violette was nervous and Lily noticed. "Baby, everything is going to be just fine."

"I know mom, but I'm afraid that they won't like me." Violette responded truthfully. Lily laughed at her and hugged her.

"My little flower, you have no clue how important you are to Edward." Lily said. Violette looked through her mirror to understand what her mother was saying. "You are Edward's Violette and no one can take you away from him. I can see how much he loves you."

"How can you tell?" Violette asked. Lily smiled and hugged her some more and laid her head on Violette's shoulder.

"Your father looked at me like that when he was alive." Lily said as tears began to build up. "I loved your father even now. I hated it when he got sick. I had to stay home while you and him go to different hospitals looking for a cure. He told me to stay here and work and when the time comes you will be home without him. I broke down in Charlie Swan's arms." Violette wipes a tear from her eyes as her mother started the story again. "Before he died, he told me no matter how far we were, he never forgot me and that I was still the woman he loved. I told him the same thing. Now it's your turn to love. Edward is a good man and I would love for him to be your one and only."

"He is my one and only." Violette said through her tears. "I'm in love with Edward Masen Cullen." Lily smiled and kissed her daughter's head before leaving the room. Violette smiled at her confession knowing that it was true. She truly loves Edward.
