This was, believe it or not, for a minor AP Literature & Composition project. See, we were supposed to make a tarot card of sorts using a symbolism/motif from the novel Jane Eyre. I titled mine "The Plant."
On the back, I wrote : 'You've longed for what seemed impossible to have; A rose is beautiful from afar, but beware its thorns. A romance is in your future, however, its manipulations will wound you in the end. Happiness is not foretold.'
I'm pretty happy with it! I do wish I could have put more depth into it, but that's a minor detail. (I think this is actually more impressive and well-thought-out than anything I produced in art class...)
