Funny story with this one, actually. See, I was taking a dive in my YouTube Watch Later list, which means I was listening to music, watching a random video on bats (don't ask, I don't have an answer,) and of course also watching speed paints of artists who are WAY more talented than me. So while I'm doing this, I'm like, " I want to draw."
You'd think this is pretty regular, but between writing, drawing, procrastinating, and studying, it's been a while since I've last had the urge to just draw or write for the heck of it. And so I went into Clip Studio Paint on my trusty iPad and started to draw (while desperately hoping my Apple Pencil wasn't low on battery.)
So I got to actually drawing, I was just doing the facial features first for the sketch and then I noticed that A) it's not in my usual style, and B) I was drawing a guy. This isn't really significant, but for anyone who actually reads this shit or has been with me for a while, they'd know how rare it is for me to draw males. For me to do it accidentally was even more mind blowing! And then I wanted him to have dark blue hair, but then he looked a bit like Kaito, and low and behold I emerged with a blue color scheme.
I'm just FULL of surprises today. So yeah; first version posted up top is a cool looking accident I found when I turned one of my layers transparent, and down below is the finished product. Tell me which you like best?
