So one of my Christmas presents was a sketchbook for the 'sketchbook project' hosted by the Brooklyn Art Library, and my book's title is Monotony, with the theme of cataloging my feelings. We'll see how this goes.
But I'm pretty proud that this is my first page. I incorporated a lot of symbolism, even in the technique itself. Kind of dreary, but a perfect introduction!
I did have trouble with blending and kind of panicked with how the blue refused to blend properly, but when does anything I do go according to plan?
I'm not happy but I'm content, (for now.)

Edit: So apparently, because my drawing displayed nipples/nudity (of a non-sexual nature, mind you), I can't display it on Wattpad. So, I've marked this as "mature" now and reposted the pic as the header. I don't think I'll pursue an appeal with Wattpad because it's kind of a lost cause when it comes to art censorship and the page crashed when I tried anyway. Fun.
