Chapter 1
The BeginningIzuku Midoriya's P.O.V
To the person hearing this! If you have found these tapes, that means you're one of the lucky few to hear our story. To hear what actually happened. My name is Izuku Midoriya.
I'm recording myself tell the actual story of what went down. Do you remember hearing about the death of All Might and Endeavor? Well, I'll tell you that, what they reported on the news is what went down.
Yes, I'm the one who killed the symbol of peace and the newest number one hero. Yes, I'm the one who killed the League of Villains.
I don't have a lot of time to tell you this story. I thought I'd answer some of the questions you might have before telling you the real story.
Remember on the news when it reported a murder at UA academy? When a couple of people went missing? Well, I'm going to tell you everything that happened.
I'm going to tell you the actual story, for, I was there. We don't have a lot of time, so here we go.
¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬
"AYE, IZUKU!" Kiri yells from his room. I groaned and got up from the couch. "What the hell do you want, Kiri?" I asked, opening the door to his room. Once I looked into his room, I groaned and closed the door. "Aw, come on, Kiri!"
I started walking into the kitchen, Kiri walking behind me. "What? Look, it's my room, bro."
"Yeah, but you can at least clean it every once in awhile!"
"Well, whatever."
I sighed and sat at the dinning room table. He sits next to me and crosses his arms. "What do you want, Kiri?"
"Don't you think it's been long enough? Don't you think we should contact the heroes and ask for a restart?" I looked at him.
"It's been three months, Kiri. I know you want to see Kacchan again, but it's too early to turn ourselves in, don't you think?" He frowns. "No, I say it's been long enough." I rolled my eyes and stood up.
"No, Kiri. It hasn't. Be patient, please." I say, walking into the kitchen and opening a cabinet to find something to eat. "Come on, Izu. We've waited long enough. If we wait longer, Katsuki and Todoroki are going to give up on finding their memory and start a different life. One that doesn't involve us!"
I didn't say anything. Instead I closed the cabinet, and looked at Kiri. I sighed, "God, I hate it when you make sense." He smiles. I started walking to my room. "Pack the important things, Kiri. We are going to make a deal with the heroes." He silently cheers as I walked into my room.
That's right. We are turning ourselves in. Of course, we have a deal that we would like to mention with the heroes because, I don't know if you remember, but we were brainwashed. We weren't entirely sue of what we were doing. So, they have to hear our deal.
I packed a few pairs of clothes and a few new journals. I went into the kitchen and packed some food we can take on the way. I placed the bags by the door and sat on the couch, turning on the TV.
That night, Kiri and I decided to leave. We left the keys to the house in the door and started to walk away, not turning back.
"We have to walk there, don't we?" I rolled my eyes. "Of course, Kiri. We can't just take a bus or a train or they'll turn us in and we won't be able to tell them our deal."
He nods and we both jumped. We landed on a roof and started jumping to different roofs, running when we had to run.
Once daylight hit, Kiri and I found a place to stay for the day. Yup, we have to hide in the daylight but at night, we don't have to hide. It was going to be a long week...
Meanwhile...
Shoto and Kacchan had started UA again. They went to class with those in class 1B. Now, those losers aren't important. The only one that's important in class 1B, is Hitoshi Shinsou. That's right.
Kacchan had became excluded from everyone but Shoto and Shinsou. The same with Shoto. It's so sad. Anyway, they became best friends. All three of them. It's a shame that Kiri and I have to ruin such a friendship.
After a week of running and hiding, Kiri and I reached our destination.
"Alright. Where are we gonna stay?" Kiri asks, looking around the corner to see if the coast was clear. "I don't know, Kiri." He smiles an looks at me. I looked back at him, confused.
"Your mom's house." He says. I slapped him on the back of his head. "No!" He laughs. "Hahaha, why not?" I rolled my eyes and looked behind me.
"'Cause me and her don't have a good relationship. As in, I don't know her very well. She left when I was a child. How am I supposed to know she won't turn on me?"
(A/N - When I was editing this, I read - In the pervious sentence - "How do I know she won't turn me on?" Lmao. I'm sorry, I was hoping I made someone, whom was having a bad day, smile. But, I'm serious. I did read it like that and now I can't stop laughing. Anyway, back to the story.)
He rolls his eyes and starts walking. "Where are you going?" I ask, running after him. He doesn't answer me and keeps walking. I groaned and followed him.
After walking for awhile, he stops at a house. My old house. He pushes me towards the door. "Kiri! I thought I said this was a bad idea!" He shrugs. I groaned and knocked on the door. No answer. I knocked again. Still no answer.
I got worried and bit my lower lip. Kiri looks at me and then looks at the door. "Um, so there is a spare key, let's get that?"
I went to find the hidden key and got it. I walked back to open the door. Once I did that, I immediately looked around and found a note on the table. I walked over and read the note, Kiri behind me.
Hey, Izuku... It's your Mom or what you call me, Inko. I wrote this letter to tell you that I went back out of town. I decided to go back to work. I'm sorry but I couldn't take the stress of the police constantly watching me and following me around. I couldn't take the constant questions. I'm sorry.
If you're reading this it means you came back home. I don't know when or why but you came home. I knew you'd find the spare key so you can have the place again.
I am still paying for the house, of course. I don't know why but I am. I love you, Izu... I really do. I'm sorry for leaving you at such a young age. I should've token you with us. I'm a horrible mother... I'm sorry, sweetie. I don't know if you will ever read this but I have to let out my feelings out.
I love you and I wanted to let you know that I do not believe anyone when they say you are a villain. Just to let you know...
- Mommy <3
All I remember thinking was she left... She really left... She left again... God. Am I that horrible?
