The Malfoy girl had been through the plan thousands of times, find the room of requirements, fix the vanishing cabinet, help the Death Eaters in, kill Dumbledore. Draco's part was to kill him and Y/n wasn't pleased, she knew it would eat him up so she volunteered just in case he couldn't. She sighed as she looked out the window and her brother put their bags up. Pansy was right across from her and Blaise beside her. As Draco was coming back black smoke incased the whole area. She tensed up but even more so as Draco began calling out to them.

" What was that? Blaise? Y/n?" Draco called out the worry evident in his voice.

" Don't know," Was heard from Blaise as the smoke started to clear.

" Relax boys it was probably just a first year messing around," Pansy said trying to get Draco to come back. " Come on, Draco. We'll be at Hogwarts soon." When the smoke cleared Blaise was standing behind Draco and Pansy was ready to get up and help. Y/n was rigid in her place but as soon as the attention came back to beside her she relaxed just a little.

" Hogwarts. what a pathetic excuse for a school. I think I'd pitch myself off the Astronomy tower if I thought I had to continue for another two years." Draco said making his sister glared at him. How dare he say that? He's going to give it away.

" What's that supposed to mean?" Pansy asked looking at Draco with a worried expression.

"Let's just you won't see us wasting our time in charms class next year," Draco replied coldly. Yeah because we'll be in Azkaban, thought Y/n grimly. Blaise chuckled slightly at this making Draco get defensive

" Amused Blaise? We'll see just who's laughing in the end." He said in the same cold tone. There was a noise of metal scrapping against bars making the twins look up, the bag was moving. Potter, they both thought and looked to one another nodding.

As the train came to a stop Pansy and Blaise got up as Draco and I stayed. They turned around looking at us silently asking if we were coming. " You two go one. I wanna check something," Draco said to the two, they looked towards me causing them to leave as I was glaring. He grabbed his stuff and stood up as the last students filed out, he closed the door and pulled the curtains down.

" Didn't mummy ever tell you it was rude to eavesdrop, Potter?" Draco said pulling out his wand as his sister crossed her legs just staying so he doesn't ruin everything. "Petrificus Totalus!" Harry came tumbling to the ground by her feet but the invisibility cloak made him unseeable. Draco walked over to them with the evil smile on his face. He ripped the cloak off revealing a petrified Harry. " Oh yeah, she was dead before you could wipe the drool off your chin." He sneered. He kicked Harry saying that was for his father and something about London making Y/n roll her eyes. He went to do it again but she stepped in.

" Draco that's enough," Y/n sneered glaring at her brother. " You got what you want now let's go."

" I'm not finished," He all but growled at his sister. She stood up glaring at her brother.

" Yes you are," She pulled the invisibility cloak over him. " Leave it be and get out of the train." He huffed but left after looking at Harry one last time. Once he left the girl looked down at Harry with ac old glare but gentler than last year.

" If I see anyone I'll tell them your here," She turned to leave but she sighed. " I never wanted this neither did he, go easy on him. He's all I got left, don't hurt him." Y/n left the train to join her brother who looked absolutely disgusted and horrified by her.

" Why did you stand up for him?" He demanded and the girl didn't even seem fazed actually she seemed angrier than before. He continued complaining until Y/n finally had enough, she pulled out her wand and pointed it at him while his back was against the train.

" Draco if you haven't noticed we have more troubles than your stupid rivalry with bloody Potter!" She yelled as her brother looked at her in astonishment. " Get your head straight and stop acting like a child! We both know if you mess this up I will be punished! I will have to clean up your mess like I always do so how about for once just shut up!" She stormed off not waiting for her brother.

When they got to the gates they had to ask for their names and check their bags. It hurt knowing she was part of the reason for this new rule so people like her and her brother don't get in. They're still getting in though and that's what hurts the most. As long as they don't check our arms we're fine, Y/n thought. The people took out Draco's walking stick out making Draco mad.

" What's this cane here?" They asked.

" It's not a cane it's a walking stick!" Draco said grabbing it making Y/n roll her eye. She looked over and saw Harry and Luna Lovegood come in just as the gates closed. She nodded towards the blonde girl for getting Harry after she told her where Harry was. Harry's nose was all bloodied from where Draco kicked him. The girl didn't even notice when Snape came beside them but he instantly took Draco's side with the man saying it wasn't harmful. Draco took the 'walking stick' back and finally noticed the two who just entered.

" Nice fave Potter," He said glancing at his sister briefly. Draco grabbed his sisters arm dragging her to Hogwarts with him. When we got there he gently pushed her into the Great Hall and towards the Slytherin table. She looked towards the Gryffindor table seeing Hermione watching the door she sighed thinking this was all Draco's fault. They sat down and waited for Dumbledore to start talking.

Y/n had to stifle a laugh as she saw Hermione hit Ron with a book as he was eating. Ron looked over to the Slytherin table not knowing why but his heart gave a leap when he saw Y/n Malfoy was already looking at him. Neither of them smiled nor waved but once they made eye-contact they didn't want to look away. As the door opened though Ron tore his eyes away and to the door seeing Harry and Luna walking in.

Dumbledore stepped up and began making his speech but neither Mafloy was really paying attention. Y/n felt horrible just being here knowing what they had to do and Draco was wondering how they were even going to do it. Dumbledore started explaining Tom Riddle a boy who was just like them, students to everyone but a dark evil within. This made Y/n's stomach churn. He said about how every second there is evil trying to penetrate the castle walls and how their greatest weapon was kids. Another pain in Y/n's chest.

Y/n got up quickly pulling her brother along and it worried him to see her like this. She was scared, he didn't know what to do she was terrified. She pulled him and as she thought about everything the harder her grip got. She pulled him into an empty classroom and began pacing. To say Draco was scared was an understatement, he had no idea what to do. He walked over to her slowly placing an arm on her shoulder making her jump. She hugged him tightly and he could feel her shaking.

" Draco, I-I can't do this," Y/n said hugging him tightly.

" I know, we have to though," He said rubbing her back. He hated all of this they both did.
