November 18th
I awake to this clanging and whipping wind. It sounds like the world is about to be sucked up in a vacuum. I'm afraid the old maple in the neighbors' yard may not stand a chance. His flag on his flag pole might be doomed as well. I feel fearful and anxious. I wonder what can come of this.
I'm too frightened to move. It's times like this I wish I had a pet, someone to keep me company. I can't stop shaking, I keep imagining the worst. I should probably do something productive, take my mind off of this.
If this continues through the night, I won't be able to sleep.
