The Truth Is

The second thing that went wrong that night was again Leo not knowing how to act. Except this time Jay was right there to see it with me. I felt grateful for just telling the truth about not feeling Leo to much because otherwise I'd look like a clown right now.

"You good?" Jay asked looking at me then looking back at Leo who was now lipsing another girl.

"Jay what the fuck man I was looking for you everywher- wait Ella?" Cha Cha came out of nowhere.

I had no time to greet him, instead I took his full drink and stormed over to Leo. How dare he? I pulled him off the girl and emptied the cup over his head, Leo adores his curls. I knew this would burn him the most.

"What the fuck?" He shouted

"Let me get this straight big man, I'M breaking up with YOU and not because of this actually I'm glad you did this, I'm ending it because you're a bore!"I said watching his expressions change from confusion to anger real quick.

He opened his mouth to speak but I cut him off real quick.

"No I don't want to hear it, have a good life Leo." I said before turning around to find an amused Cha Cha and concerned looking Jay.

"You're still a bad ass bitch." Cha Cha laughed making me smile.

I gave him a fat hug since it's been four years since I'd seen him. We still kept in contact because that's my boy but it wasn't like before. Obviously Jay is his guy and we met through him so it was awkward.

"I missed you," I said pulling away.

"Look at you, happy birthday by the way you look amazing damn girl." He said as I flipped my hair over my shoulder and gave him a twirl.

The only thing I'm glad about with this run in is the fact that I'm dressed up.

I was wearing a champagne coloured satin dress, it was quite daring but I'm almost done with my twenties so I thought what the hell. It came right below my ass and was backless, the neckline was plunging exposing a cheeky bit of breast.

"Are you okay Elle, like are you sure you good?" Jay asked still looking concerned.

"I'm definitely good don't worry," I said giving him a warm smile to reassure him.

He wasn't buying it eventhough I was completely fine.

"Come let me buy you a drink," he said

"Yeah you should come chill with us I miss you," Cha Cha agreed.

I wasn't too sure but it would be quite depressing going home after all this happened. So I shrugged and took them up on their offer.

It felt like old times we were just laughing and backing shots together.

"You know what's crazy we were just talking about you earlier tonight," Cha Cha said obviously drunk.

"Shhhh that's embarrassing." Jay said putting his finger to his lips, also drunk.

They said they came here with their whole h1ghr label but they were all in the vip section. We decided to stay at the bar and just get drunk.

"No I wanna know," I giggled, possibly more drunk than both of them.

"Jay was talking about how he misses you," Cha Cha said cracking up.

That comment sobered me up I looked over at Jay who was looking down.

"Okay it's getting hot in here, I'm gonna take a walk." I said grabbing my purse.

"Wait I'll come with," Jay said getting up with me.
