Chanel....,

A couple months flew by in the blink of an eye and things were a lot much calmer then before. Despite the continuous hatred of each other every one's been on their own little journey. The tour that the guys planned would kick off in a couple of days and a lot of things were falling into place. Aj's arm healed perfectly while Cam and Ava were about to start dipping their toes into different things like sports and more. As a mom I couldn't be more proud but my own life needed a little work.

It was Friday night and I was in the middle of helping Cam and Ava with homework, on the kitchen counter. There was a loud knock on the door and I jumped up scared. I forgot Chris was coming to get her early today. The kids had a two day break from school next week beginning on Thursday, the day before they left for their country wide tour. I rushed to the door still looking a mess from running around with Cam in the backyard playing basketball earlier.
Chris knocked again and I swung the door open fast.

"Tell Ava I'm here." He gestured to the living room. Ever since that little break down at the party we haven't really been speaking and it was awkward between us. He never said more then he needed too to me. It made me feel like I lost a best friend.

"Ohh o-okay... um, we're finishing her last homework if you want to come in and wait?" I bit my lip nervously being that he avoided coming in at all since that day.

"I'm fine I'll wait in the car." He shrugged and turned around jogging to his white Lincoln SUV.

At this point I felt like he'd never come around. I watched from the door feeling a bit disappointed. When I turned around Ava stood in the lobby staring at me with a sad pouty face on. My heart broke at the sight of it. She turned around and walked away heading right to the kitchen. I followed suit. Cam stared at his hands and counted on his fingers clearly bored and disinterested with his math homework.

"Ava... baby? Do you want to carry some food with you?" I pointed to her favorite meal that I made just for her. She nodded quietly whilst packing her things.

"Anything else you want to take with you?" I looked at her for a while longer as she shook her head no.

"Cam go get Aj so you guys can say bye bye to Ava." I tapped the table pointing toward him. Cam hopped off the high chair and ran upstairs to get AJ who had been knocked out after playing with us.

"Are you alright my love?" I stooped down to Ava's level and tucked some stray hairs out of her face.

"I'm ok Mommy, I just don't wanna go." She looked away from me and at the TV playing in the distance. Every time she did that I knew she was lying but for the moment I'll let it go. She'd only be gone until Sunday anyways.

"Give Mommy kiss." I puckered my lips and she kissed my cheeks.

"I love you Mommy." She hugged me tighter and sighed heavily.

By the time we pulled away from each other, my loud ass sons cane down the stairs and engulfed her into a huge hug. I smirked as a huge smile appeared on her face while they left sloppy kisses on her cheeks and gave her toys they wanted her to take with her. I laughed seeing how much they lifted her mood and grabbed the food and toys that had been packed. As soon as the front door swung open Chris exited his car with a huge goofy fake smile on his face. I rolled my eyes at the sight of it all. Ava was always the kid that could tell when the vibes of anybody was off. That must've been why she looked so down.

"Hi baby girl...," he smirked and Ava ran into his arms putting on a happy show. I watched as Chris hugged her and kissed her hugging her tight and sighing. It was clear he was genuinely happy to see our daughter but he was definitely off. His whole face changed as soon as he put Ava in the car.
