"She found Andro!!" A very excited Cicadian yelled as she ran through the ship's corridors making her way to Den Mother. Den Mother was the Earth title given to the last elder Cicadian tasked with watching over the remaining survivors of their home world.

Almost a hundred years went by since the destruction of their home world. They traveled the stars searching for a new home until 6yrs ago, the ship malfunctioned and crashed on a planet called Earth. They discovered that it's dying star gave off a low spectrum energy frequency required to evolve to their celestial form and extending their lifespan. They lived amongst the unknowing humans and were content on rebuilding their race on Earth before moving on.

A highly advanced android was built as guardian to protect them, but with no serious threat, the android's programming began to evolve into more than just guardian. Adopting the name of Andro, he began to live like humans, studying their culture and life. He was fascinated by their aspect of love and compassion. That gave him a deeper understanding of his roll as guardian, allowing him to make the decision of self sacrifice in order for the Cicadians to escape the Basinite threat.

One Cicadian began to understand the concept of friendship and the bonds that hold it together. As a result, it grew into a strong love for the android and she couldn't bare to leave it behind, so she took a shuttle and returned to Earth in search of him.

Finally reaching the Den Mother's chamber as the force field disappeared, she stepped in excitedly.
"A'Nika found Andro!" Amaya said gleefully, her four translucent fairy like wings fluttering behind her as she bounced up and down on her tiptoes.

A group of the others slowly started gathering at the door as they heard the news. Den Mother, sitting up on her bed in the large room, looked at them with sleepy eyes before even realizing that there were people in her chamber. Yawning and stretching, her wings unwrapping from around her, she got up from the bed. The sheets formed into a long nightgown as she sleepily flew to a small inner room just off to the right. Everyone watched as a few seconds later, she poked her head out wide eyed.

"Where?" She said as the news finally sunk in.

"Still on Earth. We just picked up her beacon." Amaya said, still excited.

"How long before we can get there?" Den Mother asked. Still not quite believing it.
For some strange reason, she couldn't figure why Andro only tolerated her at first, until the discovery of their celestial ascension when he finally revealed her heart wasn't in it's right place. She didn't understand it until a human explained the concept of emotional numbness. Realizing the alienation of the others gave her too much of what the humans call an authoritarian nature. She began to lighten up after that and gaining the respect and admiration of the others. It was then, after he saved her life and gave them the chance to escape, that it became clear what he meant. Since then she has also been concerned for the whereabouts of Andro, but with her concern for the safety of the others who hadn't ascended yet, she couldn't return for him. A'Nika had strong love for him and basically begged to return for him. She gave her her best shuttle and a locator beacon to use once she had found him. She continued with the search for a new home until now, one year later, the beacon was activated.

"At top speed, a little over a month...wish he could've fixed the quantum drive before we left." Amaya said, the last being mumbled.

"Ummph..." Den Mother grumbled lowly as she thought about how long it would take. "....turn the ship around. We're going back."
