Ella P.O.V.

A week had passed since I had been to diagon alley. Giving me plenty of time to pack up all of my belongings in my trunk that Aunt Jennifer had pulled out of the attic. On the morning of the day for me to go to Hogwarts I woke up with a start. I smiled as I jumped out of bed, took a shower and put on some grey jeans and a blue t-shirt that brought out my eyes.

I bounced down stairs where a sleepy looking Uncle Michale was making breakfast while Aunt Jennifer was sitting, looking fully awake, at the table. "Good morning!" I sang as I slid into a chair just as Uncle Michale placed some toast in front of me. "Bonjour. How are you feeling this morning?" he asked as he too, sat down with a cup of coffee in his hand. "Nervous." I revealed as I quickly ate my toast.

"Don't be. You will do fine!" said Aunt Jennifer, patting my hand. I nodded and ate my food as my Aunt and Uncle exchanged stories from back when they were in school. After I was done and a sleepy Kathy had gotten out of bed, I grabbed my traveling cloak, picked up my kneazles case (I still hadn't gotten around to naming her), and stood in the living room with my family surrounding me.

"But I want to go too!" cried Kathy in French as Uncle Michale scooped her up. "Don't worry Kathy, you can go to school soon, and I bet it isn't as fun as it sounds." I said to her but she still had a pouty look on her face so I decided to tease her. "How about next year you and me can go some place with snow and go sledding some where?" I asked her, but I spoke in Bulgarian, my fathers language.

Both Kathy and my Uncle just gave me confused expressions as my Aunt laughed beside them since she was the only one who understood me. "What did you say?" asked Kathy. I smiled and said in Bulgarian,"I'll never tell." "That's not fair! What did you say?" cried Kathy, fighting hard to keep a smile off her face. I switched back to French and said," I have to go now. I will miss you all." I said, giving Kathy and my Uncle a hug.

"I'll miss you too." whispered Kathy in my ear before letting me go. I went over to Aunt Jennifer who asked, "Ready?" I nodded and grabbed her hand before feeling her spin on the spot and got sucked into the tub. I had no idea how it felt to my kneazle so after we had stopped and landed in front of a beautiful scarlet train, I checked to see how she was. She acted like nothing had happened except that we had entered a new place full of smells.

I looked around too, as we headed into the crowd. It was so loud that it hurt my head but I couldn't stop looking around. Everything here was new to me. Aunt Jennifer lead me to a carriage near the middle before she stopped and gripped me into a hug. "I love you and will miss you. I want you to be careful, if you ever need us, just write." I hugged her back, glad that no one could see the tears that had squeezed themselves out of my eyes.

When we pulled back, she smiled and wiped a thumb across my cheek, wiping away the tears. A loud whistle sounded and kids of all ages began crowding the train doors. "Be brave." whispered Aunt Jennifer as she handed me my trunk. I nodded and smiled at her before hopping onto the already moving train. I looked back out the window to see Aunt Jennifer wave a hand before the train picked up speed and went around a bend.

"Alright. Your on your own now." I thought as I dragged my trunk to the first empty compartment I found. Just as I was sitting down in my seat a girl poked her head in. "You better get out of here." she said. "And why is that?" I asked in English, my tone unfriendly. "Because this is Christa 's compartment and you don't want to be around when she gets here." I just looked at her defiantly. She shrugged and said, "Alright, it's your funeral." She shut the door and headed down the hall.

I sighed and though, "Great, day one and I am acting mean to the first person I meet. I'll never make it in this school." Just then the door opened again, revealing a tall, bushy brown haired girl, with narrowed hazled eyes. She was holding a white cat that was scary looking since it had one brown eye and one blue eye. It hissed when I looked at it and I heard a responding hiss from my kneazle in her case next to me.

"Um, your in my seat." Said the girl with a whinny and annoying voice. "So?" I said, looking up at her. Her eyes narrowed even more and then two guys from behind her moved in front of her. Next thing I knew I was throw out of the compartment and crashed into the wall, landing on my head. I heard the yowl as my kneazle as she got throw out too and a second later the thump of my trunk as it hit the floor.

The girl laughed before slamming the door. I righted myself as I heard everyone in the girls compartment laughing as well. I rubbed my head where it had hit the floor as I heard someone above me say,"See, I told you it wasn't going to be pretty." I looked up to see the girl from before. She had straight elbow length midnight black hair. She was tall, or maybe that was just my view from her on the ground. Her eyebrows were arched, giving her a snotty look but her soft cobalt colored eyes had a compassionate look in them as she bent down and held out a hand.

"Thanks." I said as she hoisted me up. "Wasn't the first time I've been throw on my head and probably wont be the last." She smiled and said, "I like you. Want to come with me and my friends in our compartment?" I nodded and smiled. She picked up my trunk and headed off down the now empty corridor. I picked up my Kneazle in her case and followed her. We passed compartment after compartment until we were in the last part of the train when she stopped at the compartment three from the end and went inside.
