Ahem. been a while. idk what's with me lmao. But this was requested!! Enjoyyyyy.
UA was always your favorite place to be. It was always so much better than your house, which you dreaded going to everyday after school. It's not that you didn't love your family, they just kind of didn't want anything to do with you and always treated you badly. You've always thought you deserved it, but in all reality you didn't. You just didn't want to paint them out to be the bad guys.

You inherited both of your parents' quirks. Your father has water manipulation as his, and your mother has hypnotic paralysis. It's self explanatory, you can hypnotize people up to 5 minutes until they snap out of it.

"(Y/n)! Are you listening?" Aizawa drones in a bored tone, already tired of your antics. You shrink down in your seat and away from his patronizing gaze.

"A-ah, yes, sorry sir." you meekly whisper as you hear snickering from some of your classmates. You let out a sigh and doodle in your notebook, begging for the day to be over.

The bell rings signaling it's time for lunch. You managed to be the last one out of the door, and you sluggishly drag your body out of the classroom. The sound of your shoes squeaking on the floor is the only sound your mind tunes into. It's a force of habit that you need to break, as you only watch your feet as you walk. After a minute of walking, you feel yourself colliding with a familiar figure. You look up to meet the eyes of your good friend, Tokoyami.

"Oh, hey, Toko." You say with a slight smile on your face. Your day always got so much better when you talked to him, he made you feel not as alone in this cruel world. You almost felt as if you weren't as much of a nuisance that your family says you are.

"Hello (Y/n). Are you okay? You seemed a little off in Aizawa's class today." Tokoyami asked with masked concern in his eyes. He knew what happens at your house, seeing as he was over a lot and has witnessed a vast majority of it. You smile and shake your head a bit, dismissing his worried gaze.

"I'm fine, really. Just tired." You say, the lie slipping right through your teeth. He clicked his tongue in response, not believing you but dropping it for now.

The bell rang for school to end, and you walked out with Tokoyami. It was a normal thing for the two of you to walk home together, you lived relatively close to each other.

"Are we still up for our movie marathon tomorrow at mine?" You ask as you begin to make your way down your drive way. He had a ghost of a smile and shook his head in amusement.

"Just the same as every Saturday. I don't see why you ask me anymore when you already know the answer." he replies in as he gazes at you with a look that you couldn't recognize.

"Force of habit, I guess." You say with a giggle. He understands your anxiety and how you always need reassurance, so he never gets mad when you ask him the same question at least a hundred times. He shakes his head once more and smiles more.

"This week is horror movies, right?" He asks as he begins walking away. You smile cheekily at him and nod.

"You got it bird boy." You teasingly say the nickname you've had for him since you first met.

"No you!" Dark Shadow pipes in as he emerges from Tokoyami's back. You laugh as you shake your head at him.

"Bye Toko, I'll text you later." You say as you walk into your house. You make your way to your room without talking to anyone and quickly close the door behind you. You lean against the door with a smile on your face.

"Man I'm so in love with you, it's crazy." You mumble to yourself as you make your way to your bed and open your laptop to binge on your current favorite show, Criminal Minds.
