"Don't stop BELIEVIN'. Hold on to that FEEEELIINNNN'!!!!" Arizona had an amazing voice when she sang but when it's waking me up from my deep slumber, it was nails on a chalkboard. "STREET LIGHTS. PEO-PLEE. OOOOHHHHHH!!!!!" I stretched my arms above my head and across the empty bed, laughing at Arizona's beautiful musical talent screeching from her lungs. I brought my hands to my face to rub my eyes when pounds of makeup flooded my fingers. I must have really passed out last night to have left all this makeup on since I am very compulsive when it comes to washing my face every night. "DON'T. STOP. BELIEVIINNNN'." Arizona continued to sing as I walked into my bathroom with a towel, my phone and fresh underwear. Music has always been my security blanket so I always stuck to a song depending on what was going on in my life or how I was feeling. Today, I'm feeling like some Beatles.

"Something in the way...she moves...attracts me like no other lover..." George Harrison's voice entwined with mine as I undressed and hopped into the hot shower. "Something in the way...she woos me..." The hot water beat down on my tired muscles, waking them up at every interaction. I took a pretty fast shower which surprised me for how much makeup I had to scrub off my face and all the hairspray I had to wash out of my hair. I shut off the shower, dried my body and shut my music off to hear complete silence echoing from outside my room. I figured Arizona got back to work so I snuck around my room trying to find a pair of black leggings and a t-shirt to throw on. Once I put on a decent outfit, I grabbed my combat boots and a pair of socks while opening the door to see Arizona typing away on her laptop while she sat with her headphones deep inside her ears. She practically fell off the couch when she saw me come out of the room. I sat down at our dining table to put on my socks and shoes while she threw off her headphones and stared at me anxiously like a puppy wanting a treat from his owner. I simply smiled at her as I knew she was going to throw her laptop at me if I didn't say something.

"Well...we went to the Golden Globes..." I started. Arizona made some type of dying dinosaur mixed with mating turtles sound before I could even explain how it went. Once she finally calmed down, I told her everything that happened as I jumped onto the couch next to her. Her eyes filled with interest when I got to the end of the night.
"Did you guys hook up? Oh, my god. Ew. I don't want to know but that is seriously the most adorable thing I have ever heard but ew, don't describe it in detail...but...did you?" She bounced around, clapping her hands.

"Nope." I said, smiling.
"What..."
"Trust me. It took everything in me to not drag him to my bed." I got up from the couch laughing, grabbed my phone from the table as the notification rang and I sat back down on the couch without seeing what it was about.
"Geez, dude. All of this in 48 hours." She pushed me as she jokingly teased me. I pushed her back as I unlocked my phone to see a text from Chris. I read the text in my head, "Good morning", it said so delicately. I texted him back with jittery fingers typing faster than I knew I could. Arizona watched me as I looked back up at her with a big smile.

"Please tell me you're going to see him again." She poked my arms. I blocked more of pokes and slaps as I got up from the couch.
"Get back to work. I'm going to go get food. Want anything?" I asked as I watched Arizona put the headphones back into her ears and hold up a bag of chips. "Great diet, kid." I declared under my breath as I shut the door behind me and walked to the bakery down the street.

The bakery was full of people so I worked my way into the small area and made it to the condiments station with my bagel and coffee tightly secured in my hands. I poured the usual obnoxious amount of sugar and cream into the coffee before taking the short walk back to my apartment. Two men with giant cameras ran up to me, clicking away.

"Hey guys." I said to the men hesitantly.
"Hi." One of the men replied. "How was the Golden Globes last night?" No mention of Chris. So far, so good. I smiled for my answer. If it was one thing I've learned throughout my life in the spotlight, it would be to keep my mouth shut.
"How was Chris Evans last night?" The other man asked, thrusting his pelvis into the air.
"Oh, be careful. You might get the air pregnant doing that." I joked. The men laughed, still making their cameras click away at my every move. I sipped my hot coffee and watched behind the men to make sure they didn't hurt themselves. I still don't know how they manage to walk backwards. I can't even walk down the street the correct way without bumping into an inanimate object.
"You and Captain America, huh?" The same air impregnating man asked. "What's that all about, Sarah Rose?!" I sighed, shaking my head and laughed. "How does your dad feel about that?" I finally made it to my apartment building and waived to the men as I unlocked the front door. The sound of my phone ringing was muffled in my pocket so I ran into the building before I answered.

"Sarah! Good news." Megan's voice jumped from the phone.
"Good morning to you too, Megs." I said, shaking my head. Sometimes I hated it when she was all business.
"Hi." She barked. "So, the producers from Saturday Night Live called me...They want you to be the musical guest next month."
"No. Way."
"Way."
"Oh my fucking god!" I screamed. My celebration echoed and bounced around the empty staircase. Megan started explaining that I will be performing two songs: one new song and the number one hit 'Empty Arms'. My phone buzzed in my hand. I ignored Megan, as usual, to see it was a text from Chris. I opened the message without thinking of Megan yacking away on the line.

Hi beautiful. Can you be ready by 2pm? I want to take you out.

I bit my lip in excitement and quickly replied:

I'll be ready. Should I meet you somewhere?

Chris replied to my text without hesitation.

Meet me at the bottom of the stairs.

I muttered the text to myself. I usually hate surprises but the way Chris seems to be insisting, it was really attractive.

I can't wait to see your smile.

The rest of the text popped up on my screen and made me smile and giggle uncontrollably. Megan's voice yelling at me to pay attention became apparent.
"I'm sorry, I'm here! Hello? Megan...?" I said into the phone. Megan sighed loudly in reply.
"Just get to work on finishing that new song. Now go back to your cloud."
"Thank you, thank you, thank you. You're awesome, Megs."
"Uh huh." Megan ended the call. She shouldn't be too upset. It's not every day I have an extremely sexy and delicious man wanting to take me out on a date.
I read and reread the texts from Chris as I ran up the stairs in excitement and anticipation for our first official date.
