Once back from the studio, I had a little bit of time to kill before Charlie came over. When I heard a knock at the front door, I ran over to answer it, I literally ran to the door.

"Hi Charlie." I opened the door to let her in trying to play it off as if I didn't just sprint over the furniture to get the door. "Welcome."

"Hey, thank you." She took of her shoes & then she followed me into the other room with the guys.

"Hi." Ashton smiled at her. "Long time no see."

"I know. I'm surprised we're not sick of each other." Charlie joked, sitting down on the end of the couch & then I sat next to her.

"We could never be sick of you." Michael laughed. "Especially Luke."

Leave it to these guys to literally throw in there that I liked Charlie at any point of a conversation.

"God, I still have sand under my nails from playing with Alana." Calum complained.

"You made her life. When Amy & Thomas came home, she ran over to them & said she got to hug her boyfriend today."

Calum awh'ed. "That's too cute! She's probably the cutest kid. How old are they?"

"They're both six, twins if you couldn't figure that out."

"They're funny kids. I love them." I said. "I bet they always keep you entertained."

"Definitely. I can also quote Tangled & Cars perfectly thanks to them. Do you guys have siblings?"

"I have two older brothers." I told her.

"I have an older sister." Calum answered.

"Only child." Michael pouted. "But I have a dog."

"I have a younger brother & sister." Ashton smiled. "& I absolutely love it."

"You like being an older sibling?" She asked Ashton.

"Yep. I love knowing that I can protect them & like show them the ropes on life. It's rewarding. Why? Do you like it?"

"I don't know. I was kind of thrown into it. I moved in & it was like here's two little kids that are going to look up to you & up until then, the other foster homes I lived in, I was always a middle or the youngest kid so now being the oldest, it's different. I hope I'm doing a good job."

"I think you are." I smiled. "They seem to love you a lot. You're good with them too."

"Thanks. So how long are you guys in L.A?"
