"I love you more than words, Charlie Joy."

A/n fair warning, it's a bit of a boring chapter

Charlie's P.O.V

Amy & Thomas were letting me skip school on Friday so that I could fly out to Pennsylvania on Thursday night to see the last two shows of the North America tour. My time with Luke was limited & so that's why my foster parents said I could miss a day of school to fly out & see him.

After school Thursday, Thomas picked me & we went straight to the airport so I could fly to Luke. I found a taxi at the airport & I had it take me to the venue because their show was about to start in an hour.

The taxi driver drove around to a side alley & then Liz came out of a side door to let me in.

"How are you sweetheart?" She asked, giving me a hug.

"I'm fine, how are you doing?"

"Good. You know, it means a lot that you flew out across the country to see Luke just for these two nights. I know it means the world to him & to me. I can tell you really love him."

"I do. yea. Where is he?"

"Dressing room. It's around that corner, the door on the right."

"Thanks!" I took off on a sprint & I ran into the dressing room but Luke wasn't in there.

"Where's my baby?" I asked the other three.

"Toilet." Calum laughed. "He knew you were almost here & he was so excited so he had to pee."

"Awh." I started laughing too. Typical Luke.

Then I heard the door open & Luke ran over to me. He wrapped his arms around me from behind & he put his head on my shoulder, looking at me. "Hi."

"Hi." I smiled back before he spun me to kiss me.

"How's my love?" He asked. "How was the flight?"

"Not too bad. It brought me to you, didn't it."

"True fact, Charlie Joy. That's a true fact. Thanks for flying out for me. That's very sweet."

"Your momma told me the same thing."

"She did?"

"Mhm." I nodded. "She said she can tell how much I love you because I did this. I just wanted to see you before you fly back to Sydney & then to Vegas & then to Dublin. You're gonna be Mr. Worldwide & so I wanted one last weekend with you before that."

"I know. Travelling is going to pick up soon. I hate that."

It was true. Luke was going to be in Australia for a few weeks with the No Place Like Home tour & then they had legit two days in Vegas for the Billboard awards before then flying to Dublin for the Where We Are tour starting late May. We haven't planned our next visit yet so once we said good-bye here, I wasn't sure when the next hello would be.

I wasn't sure if that was a good thing...to know how long until we would be back toghether again or not.

-

I watched their show from the wing instead of from the audience. Luke would peak over to the side a lot & I'd make faces at him.

After that show, we hopped on their tour bus.

"Is this your first time on our bus?" Luke asked me.

"Yep." I nodded, walking through it.

"Lemme give you a tour."
